When doing the visa process, does the people doing the process or interviews bring up what each other surf's for? For example, when family are here, they search for things that I would not. I will also search random stuff for research (like you watch "8MM" and then you research snuff films, or looking into government corruption (which, well, is real anyway). Then forget the random, but talking specifics when it comes to laws and, um, wedding plans. What about fixing computers (hobby) that had viruses/'wares and got all those popups and open tabs that burns the eyes of people like us? Does they hound the ISP for Internet habits? Do I need to stop looking into how to fight the government on their cheating the American people from a real, living wage instead of $7.25/h????? Power to the suffering adults!!!! Anyway, yes, VISA people and ISPs? Will they question what you do, even if you did not do it (someone else using Internet, viruses, etc)?
I am a techie, so I deal with this stuff on my end but do not want them accusing me of being something I am not, you know, and tells her.... Or worse, spills any plans from looking at "wedding ideas."
Thanks.

You do not use a VPN?

But still, can anyone tell me if they commonly check with your ISP what sites you go to? Got nothing to hide, but do not want misunderstanding on why I access certain sites, which are usually accessed randomly or for research. I also had a few

'wares hidden in some old backups of mine, and you can assume what they were popping up, etc.

Thanks.

Good that you have nothing to hide,

I know that I was questioned at length about my penchant for japanese pornography, they also seemed to know that I occasionally pick my nose and eat it, so they are definitely watching potential K1 visa holders. Not sure its possible to slip below their radar. Definitely if you have pervy or subversive relatives I'd make sure they don't have access to your wifi.

Japanese Pornography is not a subject to joke about.

If you are not checking how to build b**b online you are fine...

Now they know if your K1 visa is approved quickly you won't be checking porn.

Nice joke, lol...

Everyone watches porn, I watch porn, you watch porn, the IO probably also watches porn....as long as it's legal porn you're fine...

I watch Hentai *shrug* Never had it brought up....if that what we mean by Japanese Porn...lol. Last time I checked, Hentai isn't illegal and can be purchased at basically any video section of a sex store in the US :P

Seriously unless you're like in the black market or doing stuff ILLEGALLY online, they don't search anything probably outside of Facebook if that unless you give them a reason too.

I got some examples I read somewhere so let me bring them up. I wish I had the links but I just cleared my bloody history (I normally keep 200 tabs open in Firefox at a time :) ). I got TimeWarner. They will sell stuff to the lowest bidder! I read (not here) where one guy was always researching war tactics, but for a game he played online. His fiancee got questioned a lot and only knew he played games but not what research he did regarding it. She knew nothing about his online gaming buddies or his habits, but all he was doing was just getting into a game like the rest of us (I am a fantasy and scifi MMOG player myself, I do not do the WWII games, but I know how immense they get). I think same site, and I thought of it from what the user said about about that porn, is that a guy (always with the guys here) who watched porn now and then even during his relationship, and some malware bit used keywords from other searches and ended up recommending pages of specific porn, like his fiancee's nationality. So basically he would search, say "Russian flowers" in Google and the porn site he went to gave him, well, something with those keywords. Anyway, she knew he watched it before, but not during their relationship, and after not doing so in months (he got tired of betraying her but not told her to protect her heart from his sins) he fears they are going to come up in her interview (think he said in Nov) and she be denied because "he is not happy in his relationship" and that she not know him. One guy (see, always with the guys) was doing a lot of research on divorces because he suffered one, and the people interviewing his fiancee thought that he divorced once already and is planning to divorce her. Ouch!! I think they denied her too. For people. Now maybe some of these stories are not true. I am trying hard to get everything done on my end to get the 129 in the mail next week just to start our process. I am anxious, but I do read these horror stories. I like to be as prepared as possible. See, if they question her on something she knows nothing about, say when I do research on a topic (for just out of curiosity) and they ask her and she not know about it, or feel like denying her because "she does not know me." Gosh I should stop reading about how some of my favorite movie stars died, might make me look like I am planning something, right? Or a game that left a backdoor to a porn site on my network that I never caught (I do have one computer that has little security). Or research on the criminal mind. I just do not need misunderstandings with them prying into something that I believe they have no right to access. Continued thoughts? Can these stories be true based on just that info? I feel bad I was reading about Gary Colemen today too.

Hmmmm, my carriage breaks not working tonight... :/ I am typing from another computer tonight, maybe something with my browser.
