The only personal relationship document that we sent with the AOS package was a form stating my name change after marriage, since all the I provided US accounts are still in my maiden name though legally I have a new last name. All of the other personal relationship documents we sent with the original package only to USCIS, not NVC.

Thank you very much, lonelaC, Thozelle, theskeets and maniput for your advice. I'll just send on the documents from the lists provided online, and since my wife's reissued passport reflects her name change as well as my name, I think we should be covered from that aspect too.

Thanks!

From time that case # is assigned to case complete, it can be done from 30-40 days if you execute all the steps correctly and stay persistent throughout. Good luck!

Wanted to update-- CEAC updated the status to "issued" so hopefully in the next few days, visa should be in hand finally.

Even with an expedited case, it took a lot of work and effort. My advice, stay proactive and get answers. Involving congresswoman's office helped a lot in my case.

U need help ASAP.my IV bill was paid on August 31... It showed paid on September 2... I started my ds260 form and saved it to complete it later. Then lo and behold the day after I logged in to complete it I realized that my fee went back to in process hence the link to complete the form became unavailable. I called NVC and they are giving the run around and said I have to wait a few days. Its way past the 2-3 business rule. How do I get around this.. The money has been deducted from my account. These people are causing a great delay

If God takes us to it, He'll bring us through it. He'll never take us where His grace cannot reach and keep us

I kind of hade the same situation. I paid the IV fee and started the DS-260 but the IV payment was rejected so I could not processed with the DS-260. I hade to pay the IV fee again and after a some days ( 5 in total) I could access the DS-260 again and continue the application. Meantime I proceeded with sending in the IV documents and the AOS package to NVC. And then when... the DS-260 was available again I finished it and send it! I did not have to start writing all over again wish was good.

Hope hearing my experience helps. Good luck! I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I haven't been approved yet, so I don't entirely know but I don't think it is that un-normal- the dates are always fluctuating! You might have better luck posting this same question in the September or October 2015 Interviews, since most people that get case complete start posting in there! They would probably be better at telling you how long they waited for interview, etc.

You need to follow this thread:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/563956-october-2015-interviews/

Also ask dwheels to add you to the spreadsheet and look at it to see how long it's taking to schedule the interview in your country. Sometimes it takes months
