Does anyone here know the link for the Philippine sub-forum?

Just want to know if you guys can schedule your interview for next year 2016. I've checked the website but available date is until 22nd of December

And what does the validity date on NOA2 means? Is it different from what they say 6 months from the medical date?

Please help, I'm now so confused as we are planning to have the interview on 1st week of January and POE on the end week of March. ;(

Hi. I also tried their website to schedule my interview on Dec 28 but it is not yet open so I called them and the agent said that the available dates as of today is from Dec16-22. Just keep on checking. I had my first day of medical Dec 11 and will come back on Monday for continuation. They allowed me to have my medical even if I don't have interview schedule yet, just told the guard that the interview date that I prefer is not yet open.

Fiancee now in the US. Interestingly enough her POE was Abu Dhabi, seriously cool!

I think the interview schedule for January 2016 will only be available once December is almost filled-up. I'm planning to have my interview on January too.

Validity of NOA2 means you have 4 months from approval until you get an interview appointment. But as far as Philippine embassy is concerned and according to some senior members here on VJ, our NOA2 validity is automatically extended up to 1 year.

Crazy right? Lol apperently they are from less than a hand full of airports that have US coustoms and boarder patrol for their US flights. Essentially she got all her paperwork done there and the guy welcomed her to the US while she was still in Abu Dhabi, and told her that her flight is essentially a domestic flight. She arrived in IAD international straight to baggage claim and out the airport. Impressive work by Abu Dhabi!!

Ha ha...that is awesome and will be a great story. I have been through that airport as well on my way back to JFK and it was awesome how they do it. You're all cleared getting off your plane in the US. Congrats!!

They won't open till they have filled December. If you want a January date you will have to continue to wait until such time that they open January. No one can say for sure when that will happen.

And what does the validity date on NOA2 means? Is it different from what they say 6 months from the medical date? The validity date on the NOA2 is there to "scare" you into keeping your process moving forward as it makes you think that it will expire and you will have to start over. The reality is that it is valid for a total of 1 year with extended increments of 4 months during that period of a year.

Please help, I'm now so confused as we are planning to have the interview on 1st week of January and POE on the end week of March. ;(

Got our case number today.. What's ur update? The agent I was able to talk to was really nice and told me they received our case last Dec. 9. I'm really excited for the next steps
