Congratulations!!! Could someone please tell me how long it takes after interview to get your passport? My interview is on Oct 14th. I'm just trying to figure out because my wife is planning to join me.

Every country has different timeframes from embassy interview to passport pickup. Curious if you are really in Armenia?

Here is a recap of the Medical for future New Delhi area applicants..

Medical scheduled by phone at Max Mohali hospital about 2 weeks beforehand. Scheduled for September 28th, 10 AM. Dress minimally, because you will be asked to remove shirts\tops etc. Reached hospital about 10am, walked in.. they looked at passport, kept a copy of the passport bio page, looked at interview letter and gave it back, and kept 4 photos. Don’t take in mobile phone, purse, or valuables. Collected Rs 2500 initial fees in cash (didn’t appear to have credit card pmt facility at hosp). Asked to change into hosp-provided gown, but had no lockers, so either hand clothes to whoever came with you in the waiting area, or keep them in the changing room. Ran into some Canada and Australia visa applicants who had come from different parts of Punjab for their medical.

They took chest xray, collected bloodwork, and doctor reviewed medical history with you. Docs recommend shots (injections) based on individual needs. We had to have 4, were given a list to buy shots from the in-house medical store (another approx Rs 3000). Brought the shots and were injected 2 each on each arm (again, this differs from person to person). Then we were done and permitted to change back to regular clothing.

Out of hosp by 12:30ish, so about 3 hours total. Informed to pick up the medical report in one week.

THank you so much. My hubby told me all about his experience and you know what? It took over 6 hours because he was the VERY LAST ONE and everyone had left. They had even left the windows so he got up and said.... EXCUSE ME...lol.... then the interview took her time and carefully squeezed out a lot of info but they had a nice 30 min conversation between the two of them. I think it ended up being a nice time for them both! Anyway...just waiting for that email to pick up the packet.

WOW... almost over.

Lol.. sounds like the counselors were a bit too eager to get to their happy hour. Well, all's well that ends well, as the saying goes. Is your hubby from Delhi or he made the trek from a different state?

(So I asked this silly question in a separate thread, but with spending 6 hours inside the embassy complex, do they have access to water/food etc?)

My husband's medical is today in Mohali! :) I'm so excited.

Do you think he'll get his medical results in time for his interview? It's on the 16. I think I'm over thinking it but I can't be sure enough. :/
