I'm soooo scared. I filed as single on my taxes. Nvc didn't say anything about it but I'm not so sure about the interview. Should I worry about it?

Btw, congrats! I'm so happy for you! I'm sure you were jumping with joy. Hehe :)

Hopefully it should not be an issue. Although you shouldn't have done so (you knew you were married when you signed on the tax return as single). Luckily, most visa officers usually don't get into tax details.

I claimed married when I filed my 2014 return.

my friends' husbands interview was also yesterday and he was also approved. his appt was at 7:30, got out at 1:30 yuck.

very similar questions as Paro posted.

my hubby did his fingerprints and medical in delhi yesterday. He did fingerprints early as who knows how technology will react in next few days given the track record of DOS.

Nvm I found it. Can I make an account on behalf of my husband? It's much faster and easier to do it in Cali than Punjab :P

sorry for not posting review yet, its coz i dont have much info yet. hubby had to go back to punjab right after medical and phone was out of range, and then i was preoccupied last night so didnt get much time to talk. but i know he will get the report back on next wednesday i.e. one week and since we have no record of vaccines he got a bunch of vaccines and they gave him a shot and said he will need that booster after a week and he can get it done anywhere. i dont know the costs yet. will get all info and share in a day or two.

FYI: Our NVC Status showing "In Transit" as of today.

Yaay.. that's awesome. Finally on the move!

So I was told VAC process was effortless..appointment was at 9:45 this morning...no substantial crowd...all done in less than 10 min...came out and there was ocean of people...One thing she told me that she did not get any confirmation just a sticker on her pass...Ninja Can you confirm if you got any confirmation sheet?
