We don't know we needed it, until I just read some replied on forum. Please help me. What will happened now, will our case will delay? We are March filer and still haven't receive our NOA2

Recently, from what I've read, many NOA2s are taking a few months especially for those who are in TSC.

You might receive an RFE for that. If ever, just send it right away.

Wait for the RFE, and then when you get it send in the 2 letters of intent. You can get your letters of intent ready though for when you receive your RFE.

Because if it was me, I would do everything I oculd to prevent slow-downs even if it wasn't a 100% chance of success. My question is why wouldn't you try?

Because it is like trying to match together two very small needles in one very large haystack. With an RFE notice, there is a routing reference number to assist in matching up the evidence with the correct adjudicator promptly.

BTW, do you have any personal experience with the RFE process?

Yeah, without the routing number they won't know where that paper goes and they are NOT going to search for it just because you sent it. Chances are if you send something without an RFE it's just going to be discarded because there's really no way they can match up a paper with something they haven't even processed.

To them, without all the required documents, you're sending them a piece of paper for no reason, because they don't know it's missing yet and it's not their job to find out until they process it.

When I send the application I-129-F for my fiance, I forgot attach the letter of intent and six months later I received an RFE. when I

send those 2 letters one week after I received my approval letter.

I'm not sure about these "no" answers.... No harm in it. Could actually work, I'd try if I were you (and I did when it was me).

A few months after sending in my i-129f, I realized that I had skipped Question 15 (I was keeping an eye on the RFE master list, someone mentioned getting an RFE for doing so....I didn't remember the sound of the question, checked my photocopy and saw that I, too, had left it blank). I figured it was worth a shot to try. At least worth the price of a stamp. What I did was:

Print out a new page with Question 15. Answer it, initial by the answer and sign the bottom

Made a photocopy of my NOA1 with the barcode on it

Wrote a letter explaining what I'd done (with my receipt number), explained that my NOA1 with barcode was attached, and would it be at all possible to try to put it in the file so that we can all save time down the road? I didn't send it in until maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago, when I saw other February people start to get approved. (Partly because I thought it was a completely silly idea, and partly because I forgot). When I did send it, I sent it directly to TSC, not the Lockbox.

I have absolutely no idea if this worked. But I did get my NOA2 on Tuesday, 2 or 3 weeks after sending that letter, and I did not get an RFE.

If it did work, I think that the barcode probably could have helped, and maybe sending it when they were working on other petitions around my time helped. Or I got straight-up lucky and the adjudicator didn't notice (it's a really easy question to miss, if your fiance doesn't have previous spouses, or children and is not currently in the US. It looks like it belongs with question 14), or didn't care. Who knows. Again, worth the price of a stamp....but I didn't get my hopes up.

You'd have to act fast. You need a letter of intent from her, too. Ask for it now, because you're probably going to have to send it in one way or another. There's a standard template here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples

If you are going to try to send one now, to try to avoid the RFE, have her send two identical letters to you. Because in case this doesn't work, you'll still need one to address the RFE.
