Hello everyone
My priority date is nov 2015
i start divorce process in morocco cause my husband was abusing me and treating me so badly.
So my question... Is There Any possiblity to continue the process about my visa petition without him?? Or is There Anyone here CAN give me information about the U non immigrant visa ??
Thank you in advance

With the divorce, your F2A petition is no longer valid now and so you will not be granted a F2A based immigrant visa.

If you are currently in US, you may file for gaining U non immigrant status with evidences of your husband's crime on you but if you are in Morocco, you aren't eligible for U-visa.

The NVC started scheduling interviews for October. The latest I've seen to receive an interview date has a priority date of Dec 8, 2014. I guess it's safe to assume as of now that October bulletin will move at least until that date. Anyone with PDs later than that may call NVC so we may know/guess what the October cut off date will be. :)

the last interview nvc have schedule is pd 12-15-2014

that is basically one months movement. Is it safe to assume that the bulletin has moved a month in advance for the october release?....or maybe the dates recently issued are to use up the excess visas of the current fiscal year so that they can start off the new fiscal year fresh, which could mean more than 1 months movement in the october bulletin?

Hey guys,

I have a question for anybody that might be in my situation. I am a permanent resident that filled an I-130 for my spouse who is an F-1 student. When the beneficiary is in the country the process seems a little different from what most of you have gone through.

Does anybody have any experience with a spouse that is in the US? I get a little lost after the I-130 approval, am I suppose to wait until USICS sends me a letter letting me know that a visa is available? Or should I just watch the priority dates and file when the date is current. Also what about the "dates for filling" vs "final action dates." Please share your experience if you have been though this. Thank you and good luck to everybody!

Hello,

I think you can apply for Adjustment of Status.. However, you can only apply for it when your pd is current.

Thanks
