Hopefully it's something you can sort quickly, get back to them, and get the case moving along. ??

I'm losing hope here as there is nothing on the website and I've not received any letters. At least if I knew I was getting an RFE I'd know what the hold up was. This process definitely kicks you into the ground.

So frustrated!! Ordered a new passport and it arrived at the police station today IN MY MAIDEN NAME. Even though I've registered my new name in Sweden it apparently took a few more days for them to be informed. They got the notice of my new name a few hours before they had already made my passport. Had to go order a new one today. I'm going to have to reschedule my biometrics appointment.

Man, that really sucks! Like they couldn't verify your information before they sent it out?

Well, the good thing is even if you reschedule, I'm sure you can do an early walk-in! I hope you get your new passport soon! :)

That's what I'm wondering too! And it's so weird because I had proof from the tax office of my name change and it was approved by them, but for some reason it had not yet been registered with the police.

I should get the passport on Monday and I have the biometrics on Wednesday. I decided it's better to reschedule now and be safe then risk a possible last minute delay. Plus I can't book a flight without a passport and the price would go up if I booked last minute.

Oh well, as long as I'm not getting in trouble with USCIS I'm happy :P Just a little homesick...

Oh, well! I'm sure everything will go well and I certainly agree "better safe than sorry". I'm pretty sure you won't get in trouble with USCIS! Homesickness is usually something that wears off over a couple of weeks, I understand leaving friends and family behind after a brief trip! It's gonna suck, but on the brighter side you have your husband here and a boat load of opportunities waiting for you guys here! Once you get here maybe you guys could go on a vacation? It always works for me! :P

More homesick in the way that I want to go home to my husband. :) But it's nice being home with mom after everything that has happened (my dad died) but it's kind of painful with everything that reminds me of him. And I'll be back here in November if everything goes as planned.
