He can travel and request entry to Arizona on a valid tourist visa.. but carry as much proof as possible of ties to home country. Any previous short visits on tourist visa and returns home each time could count in his favor.

However, be prepared to be turned away at POE if denied entry. 50/50 odds!

@ marvegiyam No actually delta airlines has no restrictions unless the pregnancy has some kind of complications but they still recommend a doctors report. You should be fine in that aspect as my wife is also 7 mnts right now. I alwys fly Delta airlines and have never used any other airlines in terms of international trips and the re very good airlines... if you do get interview before the baby you should be fine. My worries was only if the baby comes before the interview.

what do you say when you call them? hello im stuck at NVC and I don't know when an interview will be set can you call for me? I guess im bad at wording..

Tell whats going on.

Mr or Mrs Senator I need answers . I have been at NVC since XX/XX/XXXX and no September interviews have been scheduled it seems for IR1/CR1. In fact nothing is happening for my embassies in XXXXX and well every embassy in the world. I believe something is going on at the State Department and I need answer why the sudden delay.

They have been scheduling F2A's and of course K1's still can schedule their interviews whenever they want.

I am a citizen of the US and I don;t feel non-citizens should be getting priority over us do you?

Thank you in advance for your consideration and looking into this matter.

Anyone think they will give out October interviews at the end of the mth?

Unless someone has solid information from an Embassy or NVC, which is very unlikely because they never give any forecast about dates, anything anyone tells you will be pure speculation.

I spent over 3 hours looking at the data from the VJ's "CC to Interview" spreadsheet and everything there pointed to something happening mid-August. It didn't. The most correct guess that could be made (backed up by data) was useless.

So there is no way to predict what will happen, for September or for October.

Here is some solid information that says nothing:

(an e-mail response of the congressional inquiry that our Senator's staff sent to the NVC about our case a while back)

We received all of the necessary forms and documents and completed our processing of this case. Mr. X’s case is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S. Consulate General in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. We are unable to predict when this case will be scheduled for an immigrant visa appointment. We determine our scheduling based on the capacity provided to us by the U.S. Consulate General. Ms. X and Mr. X will be notified by mail or email when an immigrant visa appointment is scheduled. Unfortunately, the NVC cannot provide an estimated timeframe for when an interview appointment will be scheduled.

When we speak to the NVC, they are waiting on the Embassy. The embassy says they are waiting on the NVC. We just keep waiting......

Is there anything specific like NVC case complete email I should take stating that he is waiting for interview to be scheduled? And if he gets turned away what happens? Does his visa get taken away and does it look negative on case? Sorry it's just this event was scheduled late September thinking our case would take maximum 12 months for him to be in USA.

That, right there drove me nuts. NVC and the Embassy treats you like ping pong ball. It's really hard to tell who's not saying the truth.

I sent an email to The U.S. President and voiced my frustration. When my case was at USCIS....I did the same thing and got my case moving as well as a call from someone from Obama's Administration. I'm trying again about NVC and see what happens. Maybe if we all send individual emails, something can be done.
