I have an issue. We paid AOS last Tuesday. Thursday it said paid. A while ago I Checked and it changed back to NOT PAID. Any reasons why?

If God takes us to it, He'll bring us through it. He'll never take us where His grace cannot reach and keep us

Not sure about that one. May be a glitch on NVC's end so a call to sort out will probably be needed.

I think from what I've read on here is that means its processing and about to be complete and your not to touch anything. (Im not at that step yet but i bet if you do some digging through this forum or others you can find out if that's true) :)

Hi M.B. I sent my aos and iv packages last week on Monday which were received by them on 12th of Aug. I did get an email on 14th(Friday) stating they have received my documents on 12th of August but because of the heavy incoming mail, they will need 30 days to review our documents.

But, I don't think it should matter if they send you an email or not. Maybe just give them a call to confirm they have your packages?

I feel you! I am so tired already you know? I haven't seen my husband in months and it just sucks. I just want to get done with this whole thing and get on with our lives. Although, the silver lining is they need just 1 month to review, which is so much better than what the USCIS did to us. After than 5.5 month wait, this one month seems like a cake walk. Lol.

Praying we all get to be with our loved ones soon! :)

Dont rush it up.. there is a whole pile of people waiting for the interview date.. Now I feel waiting to get the case complete is much better than this waiting for interview..

We feel like when case is completed in NVC we might quickly move with our loved ones, bt truth is until POE you should have all the patience... All I want to tell is make up your mind that till POE you have to be patience and wait, wait and wait...

Better to be prepare for all these waiting times and hope for the best :)

Hi Urvashi,

How did you able to send AOS and IV packages without filling DS-260 and paying IV fee. I do think that we have to include the cover page for IV fee alonwith the documentation. Did you receive a physical mail before sending the packages.

Thanks.

No you don't need to wait for the IV barcoded cover sheet. You may just use the one from the aos fee payment. I asked a lot of people on visa journey if we could do that, and they said yes we can. Also, I even asked an NVC operator if we could, she confirmed that we could. Hence, we sent both our packages with AOS cover sheet on top and then we included cover letters for both packages.

Hey guys ... I completed the DS-261 (COA) on 08/13/2015 and paid the AOS fee on 08/14/2015 (which btw is still showing as in process)

I've called NVC and spoken with them 3 times on 08/14/2015 and 2 times this morning to try and get them to "review" the COA over the phone. I even used the

other tactic to state I want to "complete" it over the phone.

However, I keep getting the same answer; "oh it's too early we can't touch this case yet since it was only created 08/13/2015".

Does this sound right? Or do I just have to be persistent? It seems like they really can't get into it yet ...

In my case I completed the DS-261 on 7/31/15 and it was confirmed by an agent on 8/10/15.

I think you are keeping up with your case, so keep at it.

Well, I completed my DS-261 online on 6th of August, but wasn't able to get them to review or complete it before 13th of Aug. When I called on the 12th, that was the first time they told me they had my case in the system but won't be able to do anything about it yet. I would suggest asking them to complete the form over the phone once they have it in their system. Seeing as you only completed your form on 13th, they only had one more working day before the weekend. And they just opened a few hours ago today. I would suggest keep calling, they might be able to do it by 19yh or 20th. :)
