The vermont filers who have been approved so far; do we know if they are getting approval from local offices or Vermont center ? I called uscis and a tier 1 told me that it's taking a year for cases to be approved and vermont center is working on June/July cases right now.

That could be a good sign from us. From NJ also, though you submitted half-a-month later than we did and already got your approval. USCIS is so odd.

We received an approval letter this morning. We sent our ROC packet on 8/17/15 and the received our extension letter about a week later. The approval letter we received has the local Lawrence MA field office address at the bottom. The online status is still at the "Received" stage. We saw that other filers on here had the same thing happen. Anyway, it's such a relief that it's over. My wife is pregnant with our second child and has been sick since February and for months was unable to travel. We were so concerned we would have had to go for an interview. Good luck to all the other August filers!

@GabbyBird: there are plenty of people in July who are waiting for approval. We've also seen a few cases from people in June who just got their approval, and some others are still waiting: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/555112-i-751-july-2015-filers/page-46 (see: ctracker). But yes, it's definitely frustrating to see the USCIS approving cases in August. :/
