Called back this morning to see if I could get my case number and IIN. The rep lady was like we've mailed out instructions and you need to wait for those, I can't do anything for you. I told her all I wanted was my case number and IIN and she reluctantly gave them to me. But I didn't have to be transferred to a case specialist this time??

Ok so now that I have the case number and IIN, I tried logging into CEAC and it says it doesn't match anything in their system. I realize this seems to be fairly "normal" at the moment. If things were working properly, should I be able to log in already? Case number was assigned June 17.

Just called NVC and my case number was generated on the 18th! I couldn't give the rep my email though, apparently my case was 'locked' and she couldn't add notes to it. Told me to call back in about a week.

My invoices were issues June 10. Today is June 24 and we are still not able to login.

We keep getting the same error message:

Sign In Failed

The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered do not match our records. Please try again or click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you have forgotten your Case Number or Invoice Identification Number.

I suggest you keep calling and waiting... They suggest to pay by mail but I don't see how that benefits us since we will still be stuck, unable to fill out the DS260 form until "their page is back up... for us".

Just got off the phone with NVC they said my documents are revived and there are some issues in AOS form and I will receive a checklist in a week

I always stand to my statement that ep is a mess and all over the place lol .

I second that EP is a mess and its funny that when you call them and ask them if they received the email I sent all they say there is no way they can find out unless someone opens it??? next time I am gonna say if you don't know anything why you answer the phone or why do you even work there lol

Just submitted form DS-260 today (paid the IV fee a second time, online, to unlock the DS-260), hoping for a refund later

Im also confused about the supervisor review too, idk how that works ??? my SD after checklist may 13,but yesterday when i called the rep told me he was gonna put me for the supervisor list. So the 42 days are from yesterday or after we completed the reg 30 days ????

The 42 day supervisor review begins the day they put you in for it, so yours would have started yesterday. You'll have to ignore the regular 30 day process and start again with the 42 days.

It is possible that they'll get it done before the 42 days but given recent slow progress, I doubt it ?

Wait for a couple of weeks, and give them a call. There's no trick, just like with the first part of the process, give it time.

Hi guys, I think NVC is finally fixing the technical issues regarding payments. Our AOS fee finally showed PAID, after trying to pay it electronically twice in the last 2 months. And now, we want all your help and input on whether we should fill up the AOS form online and Mail all the requirements as soon possible? Or should we wait after we have paid the IV fee ( the amount does not even appear when we log in), and mail the AOS and the IV requirements together? I'm just reading a lot of horror stories about NVC loosing/ misplacing documents when sent together.

Yeah, you HAVE to send AOS and IV package together, it's in the NVC's instructions actually. Send them in as soon as you can, don't have to wait for IV bill. It's what everyone did/does, mainly due to the system failures. They will review your documents already, even when they haven't received your ds260 yet.

And yes, like Morgan says, your ds261 needs to be reviewed first before IV bill gets payable online.Current processing time is for ds261 is 30 days, in our case it took 2 months though.....
