I'm gonna make one extra post to thank saylin for her wonderfull wiki, i've been doing the research and the whole document stuff from germany cuz my hubby was working alot and even though my english isnt too good and i never did anything with english documents, we had no mistakes and no checklist

ONLY BECAUSE of saylin and all YOU ppl on this forum, any time i had a question i got it answered, any time i was down and upset i got support here,

In order for your IV fee to be unlocked, your DS-261 must be reviewed. It takes 30 days to review it, OR you can call and have a rep review it over the phone with you. Not all reps will do this, so so

NVC received our case on June 3, when should i start calling them to get a case number?.

Not sure if anyone ever replied to you, but lately, case#'s have been assigned anywhere from within the week they received it to 4 weeks out. From reading the threads, a common denominator in case numbers that have been applied within a week, have been those who call the NVC everyday to inquire about the number. Those who didn't call waited longer. IDK how much truth there is to this, but my case was also received on Jun 3 and I have been pretty much calling everyday since then, and will do so (as much as I can get through!) until I get a case number. It will help more than it will hurt to pester them and call everyday. That's my opinion.

Congrats, for those got CC.

Anyone got DS260 open when you pay the fee through mail? I am fed up with this site, checking daily and its not allowing me to do anything. So thought to mail the fee, instead of wasting time. Pls help me out

Scan Date 40/30 today

Married 2001, conditional resident 2003, permanent resident 2005.Left U.S 2012, abandoned green card 2013.Applied I-130 Nov 2014, approved Dec 2014. DS260 13th Apr 2015. Docs sent 27 Apr. Scan date May 1. Case complete June 4!Interview July 14th, rescheduled to Oct 20th.  Applied for N400 on November 6th, 2018. I'm the immigrant :)

New Scan date : 2015-07-06

Put on supervisor review : 2015-08-05

CC : 2015-10-14

I don't know if you should do that, in my case I shouldn't have (mailed the fee 2 months ago, now I can pay online and my mailed payment isn't showing)

How long have you been waiting ?

I got my AOS bill on friday. They said we will get the IV bill this week.

AOS fee, i couldn't do the payments because of this system issue. :(

Case Complete, I received the interview letter today 40/30 from scan date, email was dated from June 4th.

Married 2001, conditional resident 2003, permanent resident 2005.Left U.S 2012, abandoned green card 2013.Applied I-130 Nov 2014, approved Dec 2014. DS260 13th Apr 2015. Docs sent 27 Apr. Scan date May 1. Case complete June 4!Interview July 14th, rescheduled to Oct 20th.  Applied for N400 on November 6th, 2018. I'm the immigrant :)

Thank you! Mind blown that we managed to fill in everything correctly and give them what they wanted, though it felt we didn't. lol I do need to bring a 2014 tax return.
