Why am I not receiving anything in Mail after NOA2???

I got approved almost 3 weeks ago and no packet 3 has come in the mail for me or my fiancee?

Also we have been calling the NVC to find out whats going and its ALWAYS BUSY, im very worried right now that were running out of time or something, I have nothing prepared and dont know what instructions to follow (my embassy is Montreal)

What should we do?

3 weeks post approval may be too quick for pack 3.

Call NVC. Keep trying.

Call the embassy.

Check the guides for Canada on here and get ready.

Try giving the NVC a call around 6:57am EST. I have also been successful at calling them around 11:40am EST. Some people have been successful at night time as well. It will be busy most of the time, you just have to keep trying.

I have tried calling NVC for over a year at all times of day and night and always busy. Got thru 1 time but no one has any answers. this is just an answering service without access to your case. And emails generate an automated response saying follow instructions in your last letter/ even if you ask the simple question "Why don't you answer my questions?" Good luck as after 6 years of this seems no one can acutally help in immigration offices.

We're at the Vancouver consulate, so at least dealing with the same country you are. It took almost exactly a month between our NOA2 and my fiance receiving packet 3. So, I think you are still within normal time frames. You definitely are not running out of time! It is a communication black hole though, which can easily be frustrating and/or a bit scary.

NVC is always busy! Early might be better, but it really is a re-dial until you get through game. And...your petition almost certainly is moving whether or not you reach the NVC people. They aren't waiting on you for anything!

If you don't already have your long form birth certificate, you can go request that. I think that was the one thing off the packet 3 list that took the longest for my fiance to get (a couple weeks I think...not too bad).

Wow a year is a long time not to be able to get thru. when I was doing my wife visa I had to call nvc several time and always call as soon as they open 6am eastern time, Are you should you are calling the right number. I know NVC is always busy and you have to wait for a while I think I waited over an hour on the phone one time. To be calling for a year at different times of the day and not get thru that just seems like something is wrong

I would assume you'd need to contact the appropriate Israeli office for the birth certificate, but I'm not really any help on which office that would be. If you already have a birth certificate you might be ok. Canada offers two types, and most Canadians seem to have the short form, which is good for most things, but not the K1. I think the important thing is that the full name of both parents appears on the certificate. But do double check me on that.

My fiance is actually the Canadian. I believe he just went to the local police office. The important piece with the police certificate is that it says a nationwide search was done and nothing found. I think an RMCP office will also offer that. Try a search on the Canada regional discussion forum. I know this question comes up a lot.

Also...if you lived in Isreal for more than 6 months, you may need a police certificate from there as well. I'm definitely not an expert about that though.

Actually, I should have checked this first- are you the USC or the Canadian? The only things required from the USC in Packet 3 is the I-134 support form and a new letter of intent. All the certificates are for the Canadian only.

Yes, they request that the new letter of intent be within a month of the interview date. You don't actually send them that letter though. You just have to bring it with you to the interview. We scheduled the interview and then I wrote the new letter three weeks prior to the interview date.

It should be the original letter, yes. Scanned copies are not recommended. My fiance and I are geographically close enough that I handed it to him. But mail ahould have plenty of time to get thru.
