ps - you back in Singapura ? please try some curry laksa steamboat today !

Oh definitely I will try. It's dinner time here lol. I have tried at 8 treasures it is located at china town. It's my favourite restaurant. I wish I could bring some before returning to Houston hahaha. Omg you must be craving for laksa and steamboat. I will go to Singapore again in December too. Thanks a lot Darnell. I hope this immigration procedure comes to an end. It ruined everything.

i had this exact problem,

wound up using the us congressman's constituent liason human to get it sorted with uscis, sent to the proper address. not a quick solution, but since the green card is sitting at the Texas Service Center, it's safe for now.

--query - did the Tier 2 human get the new address from you or no?

So I have talked to Tier 2 human and he made sure that they will redelivered my card sooner. I also updated my address. So is it fine or still I will need congressman??

Emmmp i havent done a lot of research but as far as i know on your AOS that you filed, it's stated that you can actually file charges to your petitioner assuming she is the one who signed the AOS and any joint sponsor, if applicable once they fail to provide you with your needs being a legal immigrant. That is the thing until you actually adjust status and be a citizen, thus terminating the AOS. I'd say your wife dont have the power to revoke your immigrant status because you already recieved it so just dont worry about the CBP....act natural, present all the documents you carry because i dont think they will dig deeper on your relationship... that's basically not their job to investigate. They are just there to make sure that you are entering the US legally and wish you luck and best in life and say welcome to america. Don't freak out! You also said, you have been hired so go on with your life man! As for the Social Security, call your local office and change the delivery address and say you prefer it be delivered in your company's P.O. Box. Now the issue would be your residency status if you are a CR1, im sure there's something you could do with that.. Acting fast is the key! Don't let loopholes go on your way. Also, if you weren't married in the US, i think there's no online way she could file a divorce from US to Singapore? Does Singapore even allow divorce or just annulment of marriage? Also, you'll have the option to work on a change of status by having an Employment based petition... because i think it's on the INA that if the marriage fails before the applicant's able to remove conditions and apply for permanent residency, you're gonna have to leave the US. Research would help you a lot go over the INA's and know your rights..... I'm sorry to hear about your wife's betrayal. People like her don't thrive....

reminder - try to read most before posting at this late stage of the problem, OP has many solutions presented already.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Read your post. I am doing fine. It was long ago though as Darnell told you I got several really nice suggestions from my VJ friends. VJ members supported me a lot emotionally as well as for visa process too. I value your suggestion. It is good nice people like come forward to help people in need. Keep it up.

I'm glad you are doing just fine. The moment i read your problem... It's all that i cared about so i didn't take the chance to read the whole thread. It's always nice to have some other people ready to advise you like darnell at some point. I just can't believe your wife did that to you.... As a woman myself, i was disappointed of your past wife and i can't even imagine how infuriated you might have been. marriage is something that a couple works out for really hard. You don't marry somebody as if the person's a piece of on sale item from the grocery store and then throw it away when you felt like having more appetite with another item. It really sucks! The least i could say is that in all walks of life, some people are just there to teach you something.... Your experience serves you a lesson of which you now have to utilize to become a better person. Someone like you surely deserve greater things..... And a wife who will really be there for you for better or worse. :) Kudos!

I have filled the response to my wife's divorce petition on 7th of July 2015. As per my knowledge it takes 61 days. I am still in Singapore for 8 more days. Am I going to receive something about divorce final decrees from court soon ( at my address). I have checked, I haven't received anything from court yet. I am not sure that my wife or ex wife went to hearing. If I got divorce or not where can I check. Is there any online website where I can enter number I have on petition and check.

yes, there is an online website.

did you sign a waiver to appear ? and submit it? yes? no ?

it's at least 61 days - it could be longer, depending on when the petitioner (your wife) gets it on the calendar. But it's only required to get on the calendar if something is contested by either of you,

as

usually ,

for an uncontested divorce,

the two show up during a certain block of time in the morning that the judge already set aside for uncontested hearings,

and handles the prove-up process.

you don't need to get scheduled if there is nothing to contest.

even with that said, a judge's clerk can put the case on the calender IF the petitioner (not you) requests it.

start here:

http://www.cclerk.hctx.net/applications/websearch/Civil.aspx

but if you don't have an account there already, you can't see anything, as all stuff is hidden until after day 61.

I had called haris county clerk office and gave a clerk my case number ans clerk told me that my wife has to appear at harris county and sign the final decrees of divorce in front of judge and she has not appeared there yet.

I sent a mail to my wife and she said that she is confused and lost. I didn't asked anything else to her. I am not sure what she is going to do next. She is just damn unstable with her mind.
