While there are problems everywhere my strong suspicion of your opinion in regards to how bad the Muslim 'problem' is in Europe is the outcome of too much information coming from Pamela Gellar and the RWN blogosphere.

Islamic Extremism is a very real issue. It is not however exclusively a problem for non-Muslims. In fact the reality is that they are even more of a problem to Muslims, made worse by the deliberate misinformation of the kind dished out daily by Gellar and company. The kind of disinformation that seeks to lump all Muslims as a single like minded group that wants to convert or kill everyone not currently a practitioner or believer in Islam.

Which is why I believe every single Muslim in that Dallas town made it a point to stay away from this event. Those people there were looking to start a fight. Whether it be an extremist nut job or the average Muslim trying to defend his or her point of view. This wasn't about free speech.

It's just sad that those two morons fell for it. Now, Gellar is more determined to spread her hatred for Islam even more. Worse, it justified folks for hating Muslims...

I live in Colorado and we have a tiny Muslim population, my comments about the UK were more from personal observation. Europe, well that is covered by the general media.

I am quite aware the most Muslim terrorism is directed at other Muslims, the reality is of course that has always been so, I forget who commented that the only sad thing about the Iraq Iran war was that there could only be one loser. Reality is that most people only care when it is over here, not over there.

I'm still asking for a link that says millions of Muslims want Americans dead. Al Qaeda and ISIS combined don't even break the 100,000 mark.
