Consulate Received : July 30,2014 Transfer to right embassy complete.

Interview Result : AP , requesting another PC (not expired) and certified divorce decree (was submitted)Stokes interview via phone for petitioner 4 hrs after interview.

July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

Are there many people within this forum whom are still awaiting an update on your AOS from when you originally submitted it back in May?

Me! My last update: "On May 14, 2015, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status...".

I didn't get any RFE as well as any update about a potential interview. By the way, on May I sent together with the form I-485 the wedding pics, joint bank account statements, etc.

I have a question for you guys. When I filed for the I-485, etc on May, we were just my wife and me, so she stated just us on the affidavit of support. Now her son is gonna live with us. Should we notify that to the USCIS? If so, what's the procedure? Thanks!

Yes, but not sure how to let them know other than infopass. It's best to ask in the AOS forum to have an answer from someone

who knows.

Yesterday we received the Welcome Notice (NOA2), now just waiting on the Green Card

Congrats!

Just got my wife's Green Card in the mail today whoohoo! Took about a week from interview date to arriving in hand. Good luck with ur AOS and Godspeed

Ok, thank you :)

Today I called the USCIS to try to get some news about the AOS and the lady asked for my application number and zip code, then she said that in average it can take 4 months to get some news after the application. So, being over 5 months in my case, she did a request and she said the center that is taking care of my application has a delay on the applicants from April 19.

She suggested to me to wait 30-45 days more, but I can call any time for updates. Let's see if I get some news in the next 30 days.

HI guys got an update via a phone call that Chicago is still 6 months behind. So I'm looking around June before I get an update. I've been at work for a month now. Just a quick one; did anyone else get a selective service letter in the mail?

Thank you Ebunoluwa, I wish I could already work... it has gotten real though to get job interviews lately without being able to start immediately. I can't denied how tempting it is to leave the U.S. and get back where I can work, this one year gap on my resume at such a young age is not the best thing and spending a year of 'doing nothing' is horrible......!

Hey guys I don't know what happened but yesterday made a post here and it disappeared. Anyway I'm searching for some information similiar like mine, yesterday got a notice that my son's GC being produced and welcome letter sent, but no changes for my case at all since fingerprint, I'm worried how come they approved his case first and mine still didn't!? Has anyone heard smth like that before?

Please need some advice...

Wife received welcome letter yesterday and text notification that her GC was mailed. Nice way to start the week.
