i know that we're lucky, but its so hard to hang in sometimes :(

it comes in waves for me, i can go a couple days feeling positive and beeing happy about 30 days instead of 60 and then i just slide into this hopeless feeling and start checking the ceac site every couple minutes, today is one of this days again

last week i called nvc and she told me that my CC should be coming up today, so i went through the long weekend hoping and praying but today the rep also told me something like "30 days is average" and i cant expect it after 30 days...im just crushed now, i know it will pass and one day it will happen and i will be with my hubby but right now i almost cant bear the loneliness...

I feel you :(. Just try to keep hanging in there. Our CC is coming up any day now. We're almost at the end of this journey, and in a few years all of this will be just a memory. You're getting your happily ever after soon. There are many bright days ahead of you to look forward to!

Saylin, A question for you: The NVC Rep told me this morning that, my case is almost complete, and that I will need to bring 2014 tax information and new I-864 AOS form to the interview, Please what is that mean? and if I filed an extension, what do we need to take to the interview ?

If you didn't file your 2014 taxes yet, then you'll need to bring the extension letter with you to the interview. And I suggest having all W2s on hand as well as any other tax documents you might have for 2014.

Saylin, Based on what the NVC rep said, is that mean my case is complete with NVC, ? and the interview will be scheduled?...That is the first part of my question

As you said yourself, the rep said it was ALMOST complete, so no, it doesn't mean you have a case complete.

Please go to the interview thread linked in the first post and look at the spreadsheet Dwhels has put together. You'll get a good estimate from that on when you can get your interview date assigned.

Saylin,Sorry for bothering you: My point is, if the case is not complete how did the NVC rep said I will need to bring so so and so to the interview? Do they schedule interviews form "Almost Completed cases " too?

Probably because it was listed in your file as that being needed. You'll likely get a checklist for it by email once you have case complete, telling you to bring it to the interview.

And no, an interview date won't be scheduled until a case is completed and put into the queue for an interview date to be assigned.

hay guys

i just got off the phone and im now confused....

i submitted my 260 on may 1st and the lady just said that i was supposed to have received an reminder email to submit it, Im hoping it is just the issues with the system cos i don't want to wait another 30 days for them to review something i submitted 25 days ago i have my comfirmation number and the CEAC website says completed. anyone else been given this imformation. also my SD is April 24 and the still havent reviewed them.. this system sucks :-/

We both are in same situation. My Scan Date is April 20, submitted my ds-260 on April 29th and on may 7th received an email asking to submit ds-260 which I already had submitted. Well I call NVC and they were able to log in to ceac and see that I had completed it So they keep saying it takes 30 days to review it.

On my day 36/30 from scan date and 27/30 of ds-260. No case complete yet.

It's annoying because she didn't even tell me if all my documents are ok so still may have a checklist. Just hoping if I get one I can submit it at embassy.

Yeah I know how u feel. This is frustrating. At least they review my documents and everything is fine. But ds-260 looks like lost. Is like if I don't tell them I already submitted it they don't realize it is there already. So I ask myself how are they going to review it if it doesn't appear like submitted?. I called this morning and will call again at night

Is anybody else still unable to log in to CEAC altogether? I've tried safari, chrome, IE10, everything! Still telling me after a week that my case # and IIN do not match! :/ is this more likely to be a case of me mishearing my IIN over the phone? Or is the website broken at the log in stage too?
