Timeline

My case was approved 04/02/15 I called NVC on the 12th of April they said they have recieved my case but don't have a case number yet then the next day USCIS updated my status say my case was sent to NVC. 3 days later I called NVC and the lady told me that they have not recieve it yet I am so confused.

The NVC received my case Jan 20th, but didn't assign me a case number until Feb. 19th. It's normal to take a while.

  • December 8th, 2014: USCIS received and accepted the I-130 petition

  • January 7th, 2015: USCIS approved the I-130 petition

January 20th, 2015: NVC received our case

February 19th, 2015: Case number assigned

February 26th, 2015: DS-261 completed

February 26th, 2015: 2015: AOS fee paid

April 6th, 2015: Packet sent, case received

April 22nd, 2015: IV fee paid

April 24th, 2015: DS-260 submitted

So, call again?

It can take a month to get a case number after they receive the case.

Jesus that's like a month of waiting

So, call again?

It can take a month to get a case number after they receive the case.

I call everyday I don't want them to think I'm annoying or something I guess I'll call them next week

Yep it took us almost month. That's the nvc time ... We called every week :)

relax nvc is overloaded with calls from Sept folks. I have seen some ladies at Sept thread talking about calling nvc every day ... I don't think calling everyday is nice idea give them break and gap of 3/4 days... :)

My case was also approved on the 2nd... USCIS said they send it on the 14th so we'll see if they'll receive it by next week

October 30, 2014 - Sent I-129F

November 5, 2014 -USCIS received petition

November 9, 2014 - Check pending

November 10, 2014 - Check cashed and NOA1 received

November 17, 2014 - NOA1 hard copy received

************NO RFE...***************

April 2, 2015 - NOA2 (143 days) (L)

April 8, 2015 - NOA2 hardcopy

April 14, 2015 - Send to NVC

April 21, 2015 - NVC Received petition

April 23, 2015 - Case number assigned

April 25, 2015 - In transit

April 23, 2015 - Package 3 received (Email)

April 27, 2015 - Consulate received petition

May 5, 2015 - Package 3 completed & NVC letter received

May 18, 2015 - Medical

May 27, 2015 - Pick up medical results

May 29, 2015 - Interview ----- APPROVED! :dancing:

June 8, 2015 - Administrative Processing

June 9, 2015 - ISSUED! :luv:

June 12, 2015 - Visa Received :dancing:
