On this month of Sep 2015, Houston office is processing March 2015 filers, so April filers will expect receive good news next month Oct 2015.

Omg thats a very exciting news. Thank God.!

Btw, how are you coping with the wait? Are you working? I am still to find a job and i think thats where the whole depression lies. I didnt think it would be this difficult in houston.

I already got a job since 2012 - so now I am working on this job. In Houston I think easily to find a job though. Houston is backing up due to received many applications during last quarter so that now they are slow down. My friend Jan and Feb filers only took 4 month to be interview while we have to wait longer than that. One more thing, because the Congress passed same sex marriage in last couple months ago so that there are also a lot of same sex applicants.

Well the interview was like having a convo.

we got there a 8:10 and and check in. they sent us to the 3 floor but were suppose to be on the 2nd..

we sat on the 3rd floor until about 20 mins then the IO came upstairs and called us back to the 2nd floor.

when we got to her office she swear us in before we sat down. she began to verify the information on the

forms that we sent in. she took our ID and look at it. she then as the yes/no questions. in the middle of all that she was haing a convo with my wife about the teaching job that she had before becoming a IO (my wife is also a teacher)

she ask us what we had to show her and we just gave her our daughter birth certificate and the picture album. we didnt have much joint asset. just a bank account and a daughter. she took pics from the album to put on file. after doing this she just ask me if i know what the conditional green card is and i told her yes cause i was reading up on it, she told me that it will come in the mail and have us sign a piece of paper. and that was it

Question that was asked:

Where we met

when we got married

if any family attend

where we got married

what we did after the wedding.

She was very nice and she was smiling most of the time. we had no problem at all. even tho i forgot my passport at home
