Just got off the phone with an NVC rep, no interview for us yet, they also said it is taking 60 days to acknowledge emails (we sent a request to transfer embassies 30 days ago), and she could not tell me whether or not they were still scheduling interviews for May. The last rep I talked to a week or so ago told me that they were still scheduling for May, but this one claims she has no access to that information.

The last rep also claimed that the time to review emails was 30-45 days, so no idea why we hear such different things from the NVC. Still waiting on the interview letter....

We tried to get our case transferred also. I was told when I received the case # to send an email to the NVC which I did that same day. 49 days later, I get a reply from them telling me to contact the embassy that I wanted to be transferred to (total waste of time). When I contacted the Embassy, I was told I had to wait until an interview date was scheduled as they wanted me to scan to them a copy of the interview letter first. They also wanted to know the reason why, and was the beneficiary located closer to the Embassy we wanted to be transferred to, etc etc. It was a royal pain, so we said forget it as we didn't want our interview to be delayed. Perhaps you'll have better luck!

Dwheels I need your help here understanding this P4 letter. How do you know what the embassy require as i am seeing letter codes and one of them is Y for passport which means they sent it to the embassy already but I have my passport.

The consulate section of the Islamabad embassy was closed today, so we'll start hearing about interviews later in the week.

Seems my expedited request was accepted. Interview date 1st June, 2015. Kingston Embassy...

is your case complete 2/20/14. I thought I had you on the list. I don;t think your expedite was accepted I think they are just starting June scheduling. Either way Congratulations.

So from Case Complete to Interview is 466 days. WOW.

Same for me !!! Interview Scheduled for June 15th, 2015 7:30 a.m. Kingston....That answers why they denied my expedite request.

Changing embassies is a very long processing usually takes 2 to 3 months. And yes its takes NV 60days just to get to your email alone. Sorry.

The data pages you sent in. Everything you sent to NVC should have a Y and they sent to the embassy. There should be nothing you should have to bring unless there was an issue with financials and they say you may need a joint sponsor but CO will have final approval on that
