Hmmmh noy very quick enough. Got mine approved in USCIS for 23 days. And it's already on its 5th month on nvc. I don't think 5 months is an expedite since im also from Philippines. ?

Dear fellows,

My scan date was feb 13,

I called April 7, they told me my case should have been reviewed and the rep told me that she will make a notice to a supervisor..

Now, my case is at the supervisor but every time i try to call them to ask about the time they tells me smth different..

Someone told me it takes 2 weeks.. Another one told me 3 weeks and last one told me it may takes up to 42 days..

Can any one tells me what actually happened to him/her or what actually happening there at the nvc?

Thanksss alot :)

Thank you very much greatly appreciated ur help. Last question how much longer do u think the process will take?

Well, no one can tell you how much longer exactly. Just depends on how quick they review your documents at the NVC once you send them in for review. Ask to be added to the spreadsheet once you know a scan date. From there you can see how others with your embassy compare in processing times. Currently, the NVC is processing around 30 days or less which is half the time they were processing which was approximately 60 days. After you get a case complete you will be scheduled for the interview. There is a wealth of information available to us all here thanks to all the hard work some members put in to organize spreadsheets so we can compare data. Hope this helps.

Was an expedited request made in your case or was it processed expediteously anyway because you are from a Philippines? That is a VERY quick process at both, USCIS and NVC, so far...Wow....Good for you...Best wishes...

no its not an expedited request were also surprised and happy that our case is doing good so far i don't think it is because of my wife is from Philippines.

Do i have to submit new I-864 for both the petitioner and co-sponsor ?

note. the petitioner did not submit tax transcript for 2011,2012,2013 or any financial evidence. we submit an explanation why she did not fill her tax for those years.

i don't have idea about what you asked me

i know that if you have interview after 15 april you have to show them tax for 2014

Extra: Tax Information

TAX SEASON IS HERE!

Here are two frequently asked questions and my answers in regards to tax season:

Do I have to file 2014 taxes before I can fill out the I-864 form?

No. Up until April 15th, 2015 (tax deadline), you can still use 2013 as the most recent tax year. If for whatever reason you want to use 2014 as the most recent year instead (due to whatever reason), then yes, you can use 2014 as the most recent year as well. Both are valid options.

Keep in mind though: if you submit 2013 tax information as the most recent year and your interview is scheduled after April 15th, then 2014 tax information will likely be required at the interview.

My husbands interview was scheduled in two weeks! It is coming up so quickly and I want to make sure I send him all the documents he needs.

In regards to the affidavit of support, do I need to complete a new one since I completed my 2014 taxes after sending in the original I-864? Does my co-sponsor need to do the same? Or.....can I just send the 2014 tax transcript for my husband to take?

Thanks!
