Paul-- what date does your case creation date say?

On the 23rd of June it just said Case Status Updated: 23-Jun-2015

It now says, Case Creation Date: 16-Jun-2015

Status Updated Date: 26-Jun-2015

So maybe they added the creation date on the 26th, which also triggered it to say updated? Though my medical was on the 22nd, the status update on the 26th could also be them receiving the results? No idea when the creation date was added though as I wasn't checking it that week once I got Ready status.

My medical was the 8th June.

I got my Fiance to call up the USCIS place and they told her my interview is set for the 17th July, but I have yet to receive my letter!

I have sent off a form in the hopes they can tell me where it is or send a new interview letter :P

Could you tell me which number your fiancé called?

Thanks, Paul. Very helpful. I bet mine follows the same pattern then.

This whole courier thing is ridiculous. I don't see why they don't let you pick it up at the freaking embassy. My Fiancee got the tracking this morning. Went to go pick it up and they said she can't go get it till tomorrow morning. She has a 12 O'clock flight tomorrow. She pretty much has to get to Chancery Lane before they open and then high tail it to Heathrow with 3 bags hoping she makes it. This system makes no sense....

She just gonna take a taxi from Chancery Lane to Heathrow? With all the luggage that seems like the easiest, albeit most expensive, option. She can Uber it though for probably half the price of a black cab.

Any K1s who are at the NVC stage tried to call them to get your LND number? Fiancee tried and can't get through (which figures). Also tried to call the Department of State as the alternative option. The recorded message told her to call the NVC!

What timescale following the case being sent to the NVC is the letter from the embassy in London typically received by the beneficiary? Our NOA 2 was 3 weeks ago and it was sent to the NVC/DoS on the 25th. I know I'm impatient lol but want to get on with it haha!

Check out my signature for a recent timeline. It took a month from NOA2 to Embassy receiving the file. 2 weeks just for TSC to send it to NVC then 2 weeks for NVC to send it to the Embassy and the Embassy to receive it. Then 5 days later he got the packet 3 letter.

Also, you should have the LND number by now. The trick with calling NVC is to just redial over and over again. Once it rings once or twice you're in the queue to talk to someone.

The people who just completed these steps have documented their progress well. You need to go back in this thread and read. For example the post right before yours by Wooderz shows her detailed timeline in her signature...dates when every baby step happened. There are many others who put the same detail in a signature timeline. There is also a similar thread with stories and detailed timelines.

NVC will eventually answer. DOS quit answering a year ago.

Thanks both.

Hopefully I'll get the letter in another week or so, judging by recent timelines.

The issue with the NVC not answering is that my fiancee is saying the NVC line gives her a recorded message about there being lots of people calling so try again later and then it cuts her off. It's not giving her the option to hold on, apparently... I've told her the peak times to call but think she isn't getting up early to call them instead trying at around 10pm.

Yeah, that's what I mean by redial over and over. That message is standard and EVERYONE gets it. Hang up as soon as the recording starts and hit redial on the phone. Then repeat until it rings once or twice. At that point you're in the queue. A message will play that sounds the same but it isn't so dont' hang up the phone if it rung once or twice before the message started. Sometimes you have to redial 5 times, sometimes 20, but you will get through. Also either of you can call NVC. You can use skype to call for free. I always had good luck calling during my lunch hour here in the US. Had to redial a few times, but never had to wait on hold more than 10 minutes once I got through.

I tried early and late and honestly, I finally got the answer after calling (no joke) 10 times in a row (hang up, call right back, etc.), in the middle of the day from work (CST time).

Turns out they had had my LND number for several days but the people i had previously talked to didn't convey that to me. I finally got it by being exceptionally nice to the lady who picked up after the 10th call.
