Went to see our venue yesterday. It was more beautiful than I hoped. I sort of had to sit there for a while staring out into the bay and trying not to cry a little, thinking of how it will be in a few months time. I'm a bundle of anxiety because the interview letter still hasn't arrived yet.. maybe it's still too soon. Would of thought the CEAC updating on the 19th and the 24th meant something..

Probably a stupid question but my interview is Wednesday. I know we can take phones/tablets/kindles in, but can you take an mp3 player/ipod?

They don't say you can or can't but I would bet since most iPods look like phones you won't have a problem. Here is video the embassy made to discuss the changes.

Uggg was really hoping you had heard something today :(

I think I am gonna try calling NVC tomorrow, see if they have an interview date in their records yet.

Ohhh I am also in a similar boat of waiting for my interview letter! I sent the readiness form on the 8th and my status changed from ready to 'ready' on the 16th, still no letter!

Hope we all get this soon!

Still not issued. So I went back and looked at marriage license requirements. Says a SSN is required. Huh? Scott won't have one yet. I'm really in a panic now :( wish I knew what the update to our status was today :(

There should be an affidavit you can sign if you dont have a ssn atleast they have that in North Carolina where we are getting married.

Call and ask. Our clerk said it was no problem and his passport is just fine.

Poor woman. I called, I started asking questions and I began to sob. We don't need it, and they won't waive the 3 day wait.

I'm on pins and needles. Add into my problems that our son is really sick and I need Scott here. I know there isn't anyone to call...guess I just needed to vent. Sorry guys :(

It's okay hon. I can only imagine the headache this is causing for you.

When it comes to pushing your wedding to a different day, what options do you have? I know it's a nightmare to think about, but it's something you may have to consider.

Truthfully...not many. My family is only together this one weekend. I've discussed it with them and they almost made it out to my fault which hurts. I guess if I do have to move it, those who truly care and support us will be there

I'm sorry to hear that, but if it is anything to be gained in that, you will indeed truly know who really does support you. :(

Another day without a letter on our end. Tabitha, let me know if you get anything out of the NVC.. it would help to ease my mind a bit.
