Hi ,I have kind of stupid question but I don't want my petition to be delayed,so do I have to send cover page on American passport as well as the rest of the pages.How did you guys sent yours?Thanks

To be on the safe side, send the biometric page (the one with your picture on it), as well as pages with foreign visas and stamps that you have in your passport.

Are you sending it in as proof of citizenship? I think you have to send a copy of the whole passport. I just sent in copies of my bio page and passport stamp pages but that was just to prove I went to my wife's country. For proof of my citizenship I sent in my birth certificate

You need to send a copy of ALL pages of the passport. You do not need to include the front and back cover.

We only sent the bio & signature page. We're still at the NOA1 stage so I can't vouch for that being the correct thing to do.

I personally don't see the point of sending all the pages as, unlike some other countries' passports, the rest of the pages don't identify the passport holder in any way (most other countries' passports I've seen have the passport number visible on every page) so they don't really demonstrate anything IMHO, but don't take my word for it.

I did send all pages beside the front cover page .I red some where in the VJ forum that We supposed to send all pages including front cover page which doesn't make any sense to me

to prove US citizenship, you in fact have to send all pages of your passport, sorry for my last post

As did I. I know it truly only matters if you're using for proof of meeting or to show citienship, but if you're making a copy anyway, just do the whole thing and don't worry about whether it's this way or that way.

What are you filing for? And fill out your timeline please, it would help to answer your question because the true answer is that it depends on what you're using it for.
