So I went back to Walgreens and spoke to the member of staff who did my photos yesterday. I was on Operation Maximum Charm Offensive. The photos were still in their system so he just pressed a few buttons and they re-printed. I was so relieved at the end to see a zero charge come up on the swipe machine and then completely dismayed to see $21.00 come up in it's place. I know it was my own stupid fault but come on Walgreens, that was bad play!

You're absolutely right nlherman but I caved in. $40 on passport photos in two days - a complete waste of money. I might as well sit here and burn $20 notes.

Ah noo, Im sorry, your having a rough go at it. Oh well send that sucker in and make it trigger your green card!

MovinOn, I just glanced at my NPIW letter and I see it's got the service center's director's name at the bottom, Robert M Cowan. Perhaps you should write a letter directly to him?

HUH...ok I might try that, but I am at a point right at this moment that it is not bugging me. He can work and drive and we will work on the travel. It will come, I have to focus on some other things in our life.

Just make sure you have all your paperwork and proof, ie, bank statements, pictures, mortgage or lease agreements, auto insurance, the more the better, and know all the specifics about each other, then you will be fine! Our prayers are with you. Just relax!

Yep, I just read one story a couple days ago. A couple had an interview, everything was smooth and fine. And after some time ago they got a decision your GC was declined.. Don't know why cause they just got this status online, didn't get a letter yet..

First of all, we are praying for you...

Second, if you can look each other in the eyes and both show the love that brought you together, you will have no problems...only grossly obvious problems could lead to problems. If anythimg, the 14 months worrying and fretting together shows your true motivations...

The next time we hear from you I know it will be to say you've been approved on the spot...

Well I will join the line of frustration. I also received a letter back in August that interview would likely be waived but that I shouldn't expect any action for 6 months due to "workload factors not related to my case" I called in March and they told me i was outside the processing time and would put in an inquirey. That came back in an e-mail in minutes that i was still within processing times and should wait an additional 87 days before contacting them again. Rather random seeming number... I am feeling a bit more hopeful seeing all the cards coming through here but...my EAD expires in July, should i be applying for an extension?

Morning . Update on my case .This morning I received a message on my cellphone "your case has updated" I went to check case status ,It says they need more information from me .I will not know what they need until the physical letter arrives in my mailbox . I am guessing the new medical record since the old one expired in April .And maybe my husband before divorced paper too. We didn't submit his before divorced paper . This happens half a month after my senator assisted ,before I receive response from ombudsman . I am kind of relieved ,I am hoping after I send all these back ,my case will be completed .Any advice on getting new medical ?

Well sitting here in a hotel room in Atlanta ready for the AOS interview tomorrow ( was told by tier 1 and 2 I need to attend ) please all keep myself and the wife in your thoughts, it's only took just short of 14 months lol. Silly question this bot and I mean BUT has anybody heard of anybody been refused a GC for AOS ???

You will be fine, soon have your GC. Good luck and please try not to stress too much!
