Shell and Vivian are correct. You have to check on processing times for your local field office. The date does not go by the Interview waiver letter, It goes by the received date on your NOA1 for your I-485. I have been waiting for going on 14 months and 10 months since my Interview waiver letter. There are people here waiting since January 2014. Once you are past the processing date for your local field office then you can send a useless SR.

Processing times go by your local field office Im afraid. I have been waiting just short of nine months and been unable to do a request as my local office Pittsburgh is working on August 10th and my noa1 is August 15, so I can't do a service request until they update their processing times this month. Hopefully by then they will be working on late August, early Sept. Go to USCIS processing times, look at the date of your local office and then when it gets past your NOA1 you will be able to do an e request!

Happy, Happy Birthday!!! I hope you had a good one and that all your birthday wishes come true!! :)

So my local office "San Fernando Valley" is now processing cases of dated Aug 5 that means if it get updated this month then might be one of the lucky people :P Its crazy waiting for these things here its just like a lucky draw.

Hi everyone,

I'm getting ready to fill out the form I-765 to renew my husband's EAD card. We're also a potential waiver case and was told by USCIS that it would be in our best interest to renew the combo card so, I'm working on the documents and thought I'd ask to see if anyone knows what I should put under "Current Immigration Status"? On the original EAD it was "K-1 Visa Holder". Would that still be the same or should I put "Pending AOS"?

Thanks a bunch for the help!

You might, or you might have to wait another month. It depends on how much catch up they do before the new processing times are published. Hopefully you will be able to do it when they up date, that can be any time of the month, but normally mid month. March they updated on the 6th but April they updated on the 13th and they normally say they update around mid month. Its just one long waiting game and service requests are mostly useless as they write back saying the wait it now around 9 to 12 months. It's all just one big fob off for them obviously having too much of work load and disorganisation on their part!

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

Another SFV office victim. I'd like to keep an eye on this office. Seems a LOT of people on this thread are through this office. And they also seem to take forever. Or am I just jaded? ;)

Hi,everyone .I have been thinking about get a police record from the local police department ,but my husband has two property in two different states .If I just get one from my current location where I have been living since I entered US ,will they go further and check and ask me to get another one in another area where his another property located at ? I have never lived in that area .But one person mentioned to me they were made to get each one from each area because her husband has property in different places . I begin to wonder should I just submit a letter explains I have no court record anywhere in US to avoid them getting started on more request ?I forgot to add a little on ,his another property located in a far away state ,he doesnt have time to take me there to get a police record there ,I cant go there by myself either ,plus I never lived there . I am afraid if i submit one police record from Texas police department would this make them ask for more police record from another state ?

Can't you get a certified copy of your children from the certifying agency in the district of birth for a price? That bypasses the ex-spouse...

I can get them but not in time to cover the 87 days I have to turn it in. There are two provances and it takes a long time for them to ship them. I was looking into it yesterday. I put in a call to speak to a tier 2 and hopefully can get an answer.

If you have never live in another state then don't get one from another state, it's pointless. I would get a letter from the state you lvie in, and include an affidavit from yourself and that's all.
