How to assemble all the K-1 Paperwork? (Stapled? In a binder? Paper-clipped? Loose?)

Greetings Visa Journey community,

I apologize if this is an elementary question, but I have yet to find any concrete answers for this:

What is the proper way to assemble a K-1 petition to mail out? I've researched online and also read Ilona Bray's book on fiancé and marriage visas (very helpful, by the way), but it seems like no matter where I look everyone simply says, "When you're done, mail it!" But what is the USCIS preference for receiving all this paperwork? Do I staple the individual components (i.e. I-129F, both G-325A's, proof of meeting within the past 2 years, etc.) and then loosely place them all in a big envelope? Or do people usually bind them in a binder? As you all know, the K-1 petition is a lot of paperwork, and the last thing I want to do is annoy my reviewer by shipping him or her a disorganized or excessively bound petition.

Again, I apologize if this is a silly question, but I want my paperwork to be organized, and yet I don't want to shoot myself in the foot by missing some key organizational preference somewhere. Any advice from personal/successful experience or a government link would be MUCH appreciated (and encouraging, this process is exhausting).

We used clips to put all of the different parts together and then stuck it in a folder and mailed it.

I put labeled sticky tabs at the bottom of each section to separate them and used a bulldog clip at the top to hold it all together. Then into a 9 x 13 manila envelope and mailed it.

There are mailing instructions on the USCIS website, however it is made clear that there should be no staples or binders. Most people tend to use paperclips or ACCO fasteners, or large clamp/clips. There is a handy guide on VJ too. http://www.visajourney.com/content/assembly

We followed all instructions to assemble it in order, used paperclips on separate sections and then clamped the entire thing together. Make sure to put your passport photos in a baggy (labeled) and clip this behind your biographical forms. For individual photographs we put them in clear plastic inserts but some people choose to put them in a baggy, make sure everything has dates/locations/persons on the back.

I used binder clips, they suggest it on the USCIS instructions. I also included a cover page that broke each section down and that is the way I clipped each section together, then I held them all together with a larger binder clip.

I just stacked it in order and out it in an envelope.

I used those colorful sticky labels to label each document to the side,

so that they can easily find each document.

And I used a paper clips / binder clips to group major documents together,

and I put the whole thing inside couple of big ziplock plastic bags so that

they don't get damaged during the delivery.

I sent mine in a report cover with a table of contents and placed each item in a separate sleeve. The most important thing is to just make sure all components they ask for are included and that you keep an exact duplicate of the entire file at home. My petition was filed July of 2014approved March 6, 2015 through the TSC.
