Request for initial evidence notice meaning in CR 1 ?

We apply on nov 7 after that a recite and long wait my case update on 6 March 2015.here what it says

On March 6 2015 ,we suspend processing of ur case.case num.............,because we need more information from you.your notice explains what we need from you to resume work on ur case.we will not take action on your case until we recive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Plz follow the instructions in the notice.

It's first time my case status change since I apply it has mean around 4 month(180 days) .any idea what they need in spouse visa .or is it sign that my case won't take longer time.

Kindly guide me .

IT means they need additional evidence to make a final decision on your case, youll probably get a letter in the mail within the next few days and that will tell you exactly what you need to send back.

The goal for a decision on the I-130 is five months. If USCIS is now requesting more information before they can make a decision, it probably means your decision will take longer than that.

Hopefully you'll get a letter soon, explaining what evidence they need. Did you send copy of marriage certificate, proof of US citizenship/permanent residency, passport like pictures and bona fidas of marriage with your I-130 and bio forms?

Just mak sure you get in all the evidence before the time expires. Send in the evidence they ask for. No one can tell you how long depends on the service center, the person adjudicating your case and what they are having to look at and verify at this point.

It could take weeks or months. I have seen both after an RFE like yours. Just get it in.

Sorry I don't know what is bio forms and what is bona Fridays of marriage.we did not send any our marriage pics cops in require documents they did not mention.but we can send if they want,

After that what they will do to see the eveidience I mean next stage. What's makes u think it will took longer time.

With your I-130 form you also had to send bio forms, think it was called form g-325. One for you and one for your partner.

In the instructions for the I-130, it said to send bona fidas of marriage, which means proof of a real relationship. This can be photos, chat/email logs, boarding passes and immigration stamps when entering the US to visit.

The processing time for most service centers is 5 months. They already worked on your petition and issued you a RFE. What you saw on the status means you will get a RFE letter by mail.

Based on your petition for your spouse, RFE could be anything such as translation, bona fide marriage evidences, some errors on the form, authorization of marriage to be verified, standard format date of marriage date (matched with US format date on the form), certificate marriage apostille, etc. Just wait for RFE letter.
