Hello. New member here who needs a little bit of guidance/reassurance.

I just received a notice on the myUSCIS site (see screeshot).

My question is, is this the second NOA?

Thank you in advance for any help/answers.

Wow, Thank you both so much for the quick replies.

I guess I'm still just a bit in shock in how quick it was approved, hence the reason for my post ;) Only 1 week after I received the NOA1 just seemed so quick to me based on other member's timelines and stories. My fiance and I are both so happy and excited.

Thank you again for your replies.

that is because there are two service centers processing K1 visas, the Texas Service Center and the California Service Center.

If your case is sent to the California Service Center, the time between receiving your NOA1 and NOA2 takes from 1 week to 1.5 months. For the Texas Service Center, it takes from 5-10 months to receive your NOA2. CSC filers can be done with the entire process from 3-6 months. For those that get routed to the TSC, it can take from 7-11 months to receive the visa.

If you are from the Phillipines, regardless of what center your case is being processed in, it the time from the NOA1 to NO2 is 1 week to 1.5 months, and they typically can receive their visas within 3 to 5 months.

I am in the TSC. I received my NOA2 during the second week of September and still have not received an NOA2.

5 months to receive an NOA2 in the TSC is an exception. It's running around 205 days right now, with many longer than that. Today is day 169 for me and I feel like a rookie, which is disturbingly sad.

From the NOA2 to the visa is so highly variable depending on the beneficiary's country that I don't even look at that portion of the statistics, 'cept for Russia.

But I digress. Don't get me started on this ridiculously unfair time imbalance between the CSC and TSC...

Thank you for that Jabl2rom.

My fiance is from the Philippines and I am from Los Angeles :)

My case was sent on Feb 12th to the CSC and I received my NOA1 a week later and then my NOA2 only a week after that. The processing time differences between the two service centers is crazy and beyond unfair.

It is notice that the NOA2 will be arriving in the mail. Next - in a couple weeks start calling NVC to get your MNL #

Pop over to the Philippines forum as you will get great assistance from those there for the process in Manila http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

Lastly, for details on the complete process in Manila follow the flashing arrow below in my sig.
