This is ridiculous I'm seeing more and more people getting their approvals for the I-129F everyday. Now I'm seeing people that filed in November are starting to get their approvals. What did I do wrong? Why is it taking our's so long? I have had enough of this waiting game and I'm starting to feel even more sick everyday that I see I haven't got any notice from the service center. Not even a touch. I'm just so frustrated and I can't stand to be waiting in this kind of anticipation my whole life. I'm sorry if I come of angry but I just need to know what I did wrong or WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG and WHY ARE OTHERS GETTING THEIR APPROVAL BEFORE OURS? I turned my papers in, in OCT!

Every case is different.

There are a million things that could have happened. Comparing your case to other cases is really a waste of your time and only (obviously) frustrates you.

It's understandably frustrating to see people that filed after you being approved, trust me, I was there. But you can't let it affect you like this, or you'll never make it through this whole process sane.

Calm down, learn to breathe, and realize that there is a lot more waiting ahead, even after the NOA2.

Best of luck!

It's okay to vent sometimes...I know this process gets frustrating at times. It is very hard to predict when and why USCIS gives approvals and why some get theirs sooner and others later. ...it's a rollercoaster ride and USCIS is at the switch...Just hang in there... (F)

You should try to call the customer service center for the USCIS to find out the status of your case. I was looking at your timeline and it says that you should have received a decision by January 23, 2007.

Yeah, call USCIS and ask.

Odds are they won't be able to tell you anything, and you'll come away from that phonecall as frustrated and ragey as you are now, but hey.

No harm if you call. But per USCIS guideline, it is still a waiting game unless your filing date is beyond 30 days of their published processing times. The timeline on VJ is not USCIS official date to go by, it serves as prediction.

We might see people who filed in November are approved but someone mentioned that every case is different so you cannot expect to have the same timeline as others.

I can sympathize. We waited 9 months for our approval with no indications of why so long - and as every other person who filed when we did - and after we did - was approved, we got more and more frustrated and more and more angry. Vent as you need to - I know that we did - and I hope that you do receive your approval very very soon. Good luck and hang in there. It really is true that 'that which does not break you makes you stronger'. We almost broke - but didn't - and it is worth it all in the end. You will soon be on to the next stage.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

The K1 process is just a long waiting game where no matter what offensive strategy you have, you get the same results. You check the status everyday hoping things will change and once they do, you're on your high horse and then it's the next step which involves more waiting. Waiting and waiting can drive you nuts especially when the process is out of your control.

Keep busy and your mind off the process. I wish you the best of luck.

Just relax. we'd experienced that, too. Reading post that they got NOAs and ours was no touched yet and we filed ahead of them wa very frustrating and nerve-breaking. i had a lot of "if's", but, with patience and being optimistic, we got what we want. Pray!!!

Wish you will have it within this month. You're not alone.
