I for one won't pretend to know their lives. I don't think they are just sitting around wasting everyone's time, I think they are overloaded and don't have enough people working there. The reps aren't the ones looking at our cases, they are sitting on the phone all day answering the same questions for hours on end. I can understand why they might get sick of that, but yeah of course I wish they could have a little compassion. I've even spoken to a few who seem to have some. It's crazy that most of them are so rude.

Rude employees = employees who don't care. Trust me on that. There is obviously a culture there of being as rude to people as possible and getting a sick thrill from it. That kind of attitude would sink a private company faster than the Titanic.

As I said, I won't pretend to know things that I have no way of knowing. :)

They certainly seem like they don't care, but I definitely wouldn't go so far as to say they get a thrill from it. I think they are burnt out and tired of their jobs. I hope something changes and more/better people get hired in the future.

I hope lots more CCs pop up today! Best of luck to everybody. (L)

Not arguing, just my 2c. They are lucky to have jobs, if they don't want them they can leave and work somewhere else. Hell, I'd love to take over from one of them and REALLY CARE about each and every call. Every one of those calls are important. Behind every call is a scared and frightened couple waiting to be together legally. Behind every call is sacrifice, dedication and LOVE. The LEAST I would do is be polite to people calling me.

What I don't understand is why the Nvc doesn't have an automated way to check what your case status is & if there any updates or changes. Like the irs where's my refund tool..it's great. would save them money I think instead of paying bored reps to answer the same relentless questions!

Anyway...lets get some action this afternoon!! Get those cc's rolling!

The problem is beyond the workers who answer the phone. It's the whole idea of the NVC stage, I'm not convinced that it's necessary. I respect the skills and talents of NVC workers, I'm sure they are beneficial in other places, but the NVC stage seems unnecessary here, I find it hard to justify, we've already gone through 5 months of background checks at USCIS, I don't get it.

I just got off the phone with rude NVC's representative.

Rep: what can I do for you :) ?

Me: I just called to see if my case is completed.

Rep: your documents was received on 2/10 so you should wait 60 days before you call us.

Me: things are moving fast at NVC this days, I know some people got reviewed in 40 days.

Rep: got mad at me and said "Mom I do not care about other people, I'm telling you about your case" LOL

Me: alright, have a pleasant day!!!

Hell thats ridiculous!

I wish you get CC soon and you don't have call those Rep's again!

Amen! If the USCIS could accept the extra few documents one sends with the petition, it could be a one-stop shop... but no, that is too easy.

I certainly agree with you! It is their job to answers the calls.. or at least show some decency to the people calling them... after all thr Caller might have waited for an hour thinking for good and bad news which might come up.
