The interview was quite quick for us since i have kids with me 10 yrs and 3 yrs.

First step is the biometrics, you will be ask your name then do the fingerprint scanning.

Second step is interview and collecting of other documents for me its only updated nbi and cenomar,,

I was asked very basic questions like

My name,

Petitioners name,

Petitiomnrs work, date when he migrated to USA and how he was able to go to the US,

when we got married, last time my husband went home to the philippines,,

just basic questions for step 3.

Step 3 is oattaking. Then the american consul asked me very basic questiona as well,

Who petitioned you

when did we get married

what is my husbands work

Who is the petitioners cosponsor

Then how many children i have and if my children are of the father and if i married before my current marriage,

These were the very basic questions!

my children were only asked their name and birthdates!

Got our visa 8 days after!

This is Gods grace having blessed and be united with my husband! God luck everyone hope you get yours done soon too!

My interview experienced

Hi guys,my interview experienced at the US EMBASSY Manila Philippines
I arrived at the embassy around 3:30 am and I was number 11 on the line
Around 5:00 AM the guard let us in and there were 2 woman collecting the
documents :
1.DS260 confirmation page
2.Appoinment letter first page only
3.Passport
and then returned it to me with my passport inside the plastic and delivery
infromation sheet.You have to fill it out later for your visa delivery
Next I went inside for body and bag checking
Then I proceed to :
Step 1.finger print scanning and the woman asked me DS260 confirmation
page andAppoinment letter she wrote something on it and returned it to me
.And then she told me to go directly to step 2.
waiting time 2 minutes only before step 2
Step 2.Pre Screening Filipino consul.
He asked me the following documents because we only sent a xerox
copy to NVC.
:NSO Birth Certificate
:NSO Marriage Contract
:NBI
:CENOMAR/CEMAR
:Medical report
I submitted all those documnets
Questions
A.What is your Full name and Birth date?
B.Who is your petitioner?
C.When did you get married?
D.when was the last time he visited you.?
E.How did you know each other ?
F.Do you have a pictures together?
And that's all he then told me to go directly to step4 for final
interview and OATh taking.
waiting time before step 4 almost 2 hrs of sitting and waiting before the
consul called my # and I don't know why the're not using there screen to
show numbers.
Step 4. American Consul.( a woman and she was very nice.)
First I took oath after that she directly asked me a questions
Questions:
A.Your Full name and date of Birth?
B.who is your petitioner?
C.How long have you been married ?
D.Do you have kids?
E.what is your husband's job?
F.where does he work?
G.when did you get married?
H.how did you know each other?
I.what is his adress?
J.how many times he visited you ?
And that's all she said ( well everything looks good you may now go to step
5 for releasing.And then I said thak you very much!!!
Step 5: Releasing this time you will know if you have 221g.
1. woman asked me my ds260 confirmation page again
2. what is your full name and date of birth
and then she said alright everything is fine you may now go to 2go
counter for passport and visa pocket delivery.
2GO counter woman only asked me the delivery information sheet wherein you
have fill out all the details for delivery of your visa pocket.
And then I'm done around 9:30 am with a smile in my face and hungry
stomach,
All you have to do guys just be honest for every details everything will be
fine....

Conratulations! As for my family we got our visa on apr 28th havent booked a ticket yet but probably in 2-3 weeks! Thanks to all VJ people who has guided us on this long journey which is about to end soon! Keep.in touch guys! Thanks

Guys Thankyou All.

My Interview was rescheduled from 27th April to 11th May due to Islamabad Embassy's domestic issues. But thanks to the Almighty. My visa has been approved.

On 11th it was approved.

on 12th the ceac status was changed from administrative processing to ISSUED.

I have posted my review in the Pakistani Embassy Experience link.

Thanks a lot.

Now I need to know how to pay 165USD Online.

Hi guys, Im now in the us since last sunday. The officer at POE told me that I have to go to the snn office to aplly for the social security number even though i selected to have my snn applied automatically. Does anyone know how many days do I have to wait before going to the office to apply? And do they give me a receipt so I can start searching for jobs?

06/09/2014 - Submitted documents required in form 221g


06/10/2014 - CEAC status changed to "Ready"


06/13/2014 - Received e-mail saying I have to wait until Priority Date becomes current again for visa to be issued.


05/19/2015 - Interview date


05/22/2015 - Passport arrived


05/31/2015 - Arrived at the USA

If 2 weeks have passed since POE and there's no SS in the mail, you can go to the SSA office and apply. Bring passport, original BC and MC.

Congrats guys! Well for me and my kids weve been here since may 22! We received the ssn id yesterday in the mail, so you just have to wait! My kids got theirs 1 day earlier, mine arrived yesterday and i thought i was suppose to go to local office but not since i applied for it during the visa process so no worries! Good luck to us all who are already in the US! Keep in touch!

Yes by the way it says if you dont receive it in 2-3 weeks you have to reapply and visit the ssn office! God Bless!

salam zodiac my interveiw was on june 10th now its 9 business days but they didn't cl me for visa pickup im from karachi ,can you plz tell me why they don't issues my visa .my ceac status still shows ready .
