March 2015 Interviews

Dwheels76 I am so confused and I am feeling overwhelmed. I went to the PDF for Senegal to see what documents they needs and all they ask is for the originals of all required documents but I don't understand how the P4 list correlates to this list. We have the original civil documents but things such as the petitioners marriage certificate ( I was previously married are they asking for that marriage certificate?) also the military records and adoption records there are none of those. I am thinking I am creating a mountain here.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

At the time of your appointment at the U.S. Embassy in Dakar, you must bring with you originals of all of the required documents. The original of each document must be furnished for each applicant regardless of age, including babies. If you wish to have the originals of your documents returned, you must also submit one photocopy of each original document. If you do not provide photocopies at the time of your visa interview, your originals will not/not be returned.

It is your responsibility to document or correct any biographic discrepancies such as your name in your passport or birth certificate. All corrections must be made before your immigrant visa interview. Failure to do this will significantly delay processing of your immigrant visa.

ESTABLISHING YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE PETITIONER

At the time of the visa interview, you must establish your relationship to the person who petitioned for your immigrant visa. You will be asked to present secondary evidence of this relationship, such as photographs, letters, money transfer receipts, and phone records. Please bring photographs of you with the petitioner over time and other types of evidence with you to the interview. If your relationship cannot be established at the time of the visa interview, processing your immigrant visa may be delayed while the U.S. Embassy confirms your relationship.

Special note that note on Embassy wall is for people who file with embassy. If you were processed through NVC and they have originals no need to duplicate your efforts. Don;t stress. Focus on evidence if you want. O know like Nigeria they like pics of you with family and friends and phone logs. Check the interview reviews see what others presented see what they say the CO's like to see.

Okay well long as he just tells that to CO and proves that he doesn't live there. NVC probably didn't know Gambians interview in Senegal is all. So not to worry about it.
