So I have been reading alot lately on many forums and it's now has started to get under my skin and get me worried somehow about my chances of B2 visa.

Btw I am a Software Engineer student who's probably gonna get the degree in coming next 3 months as due to the circumstances of me being sick and not attending one of the papers had me back for few months otherwise I would have already gotten my Degree till now but hey everything happens for a reason ;)

I have been in a Long Distance Relationship On and Off for like almost 4 years and now I just can't be like this anymore and wanna visit my Gf in Miami and give this a real shot..and also I am gonna be staying with her for my visit for likely 2 months as I have to be back to give the Entrance exam for my masters..But what really worries me the most is the fact that I don't have any property named after me in my homeland cuz all the property is after my father and I used to handle them in my vacation and in my spare time I used to work from home on developing of software and websites for thrd party so I can't give them a legit proof of my income.

Btw I have been living in Dubai since I was only 2 and came back to homeland just a few years ago so yeah I have like 3 passport since I was 2 to now I am 26..it might help I guess

But I have like two strong reasons supporting my case to return to homeland after my visit 1) Give the Masters exam 2)My Software Engg. Degree which is reserved at University and gonna get after 3 months....so to be rational and be honest why would someone or anybody waste their entire life's work out of the window just to be in US lol..cuz without that very degree no company gonna hire me and I would be just another nobody

So here's my question.....Is it ok if I tell them the truth that the reason of visting is to meet my Gf ?

Cuz what I have read it's kinda a red flag but hey if I tell them she's just my friend it's gonna raise more questions atleast that's what I think

Plz guys help me out and give your best feedback and what you think.

Yes, absolutely tell the truth.

If you can pay for your Masters tuition before the tourist visa interview, that is a clear financial and educational tie and would help.

Btw I am gonna be staying with her so Do I need to show something from her side?

What really worries me the most is the very fact what the hell I am gonna show when asked about the income of mine as in a way I am still a student but yeah I can show them my bank balance..So how much is a safe amount (in $) that's gonna appeal to them?

Also do you think they really gonna be satisfied by my reason of coming back after the visit as mentioned above?

Too many questions omg..It's driving me nuts

you seem to have mentioned everything except the biggie - what Country?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Sorry guys..It's South Africa

Btw I don't think that the origin of your country really does matter to them barring countries falling under Waiver Program or something..all the applicants of any other countries are treated similerly by US embassy..Or it really does?

Isn't it weird that two people are madly in love and wanna meet and then these people are the bones between them and ones to decide lol ridiculous

I even have a Youtube channel dedicated to her but hey that's not gonna make any difference I guess

The country you are from absolutely maters, as some countries see more visa fraud than others, and honest people end up paying for that as it gets more difficult to get visas. All you can do is try; as long as you are honest, even if the visa gets denied it will not affect further applications, and you could the try to, say, meet in a third country.

Ok now I gotcha..btw speaking about us meeting in a third country well just say blur it out already cuz she will not be able to do that..reason being well I don't wanna speak it out..but she wouldn't make it and I totally understand her reason and respect it so that one goes out of the window

My only hope now is that to get my Visa approved otherwise I wouldn't be able to meet her I guess which is really quite honestly sad as hell

What do you guys suggest..you already know my story so is there anything more I can do to make my case stronger?

Not sure it will matter in your case, as you lived in a different country most your life, but some embassies like to see you travel to other places requiring visas and returning home before applying for a tourist visa. So if you have not travelled recently, maybe take a trip to Europe or something.

Hey guys just something right away clicked into my head while talking with my Gf on Skype..as a matter of fact she suggested it

So here it's..My Dad is a Chartered Accountant and every year he's like atleast 4 months in Dubai for the bussiness purpose and all his properties are handled by me and my elder brother..so if I bring this point and show my Dad's properties papers to the very person interviewing me and explain it..would that make my case stronger..Btw yeah I have a really strong family background which might help I guess

That's not going to help. Taking care of another person's properties doesn't show how you will overcome the presumption of immigration. Furthermore, you are not going to get a chance to explain this. The embassy relies on documents and not smooth talking.

What can you prove with documents? Words alone are meaningless since people can and do make up all sort of stories.
