Lagos is known for being unresponsive to everyone. Get you respresentivies office involved , although at this point the petition may be on it's way back to the US. What happened that he got denied ?

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

When you were denied were you given a letter at interview saying your petition would be sent back to NVC/USCIS Recommendation to Revoke and they would notify you of their decision?

If that's the case it can takes up to 8 months before you ever hear from USCIS. You won;t hear from NVC. The petition yes goes back to NVC then they log it and it goes to USCIS they go over the CO's notes decide if they will revoke the petition or reaffirm. They may just reaffirm and just send it right back to embassy for a second interview or they may send you a notice they are considering a reaffirmation, but you need to address all the denial points the CO noted and there will be some things you will have to address get evidence to back the claim send in by the allotted time. USCIS looks it over if it appeases them they reaffirm you your case goes back to embassy for 2nd interview. All this takes up to another year.

So all in all its a waiting game but do call your Congressman and get them involved now.

This is more of a rant, past posts dealt with the situation.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Hello Everyone,

firstly i thank all that took the time to comment on our case. let me first apologise for my not been here this past week, it wasnt intentional. i have been in and out of the clinic, so i stayed away from this forum to rest and get better.

I have a history of mycardial infract thrombocytopenia and ventricular tachycardial. ( heart condition under monitoring) in 2014 my12 year old kidney transplant failed and i have been on dialysis 3 times a week. this makes it very difficult for me to do lots of stuff by myself.

RECAP OF JOURNEY

i met my hubby while he was studying in the US, we were both separated and while my divorce was finalised in 2011 we got married in Nigeria in 2012 December. i filed for him as a PR and became a USC in June 2014 had case updated and case completed in August 2014, His interview wason 11/12/14 and he was denied.

The CO made his decision around the following issues

1. i had not visited since we got married ( by now you all know why)

2. Not sure if he met my family. ( Hubby was practically in our place 3 times a week) well know by all my family)

3. Why did ex requested for visa to US on his status as a student when purpotedly separated.( Ostensibly trying to please her)

Anyway, thats the all that happened.

i love my hubby and he is a humble, loving and God fearing man. well loved by my family, in church, and in communities even where he volunteer as a mentor. My family took an interest in him and investigated him using contacts in the Nigerian community not even known to him.My mom is well known in the west African community in my city. All the hooplas from the CO and Lagos just made me sick the more. I need him here more now that i cant really do things for myself much.we are both in our 40s.

There you have it. any advise on what to do is welcome. Dwheel already stated its a waiting game and i know so but i just wish this will go away and he is back here.

Once again, i am so sorry i did not respond please do forgive me i know you care.

BLESS Y'ALL
