Thank you. I hope so. I know that we will be lucky before the 60 days ends. I just wanna be positive thinking at this moment.

here is the checklist i got from NVC :

[x] In Part 4. Information on the Sponsor, please correct the following...

[x] Item 12. As the petitioner sponsoring your spouse or child, you must indicate whether or not you are currently on active duty in the U.S. armed services.

We missed only one part on form I-864, My husband forgot to choose one of the option whether he is currently active on the US armed service or not. We left it EMPTY. that's our mistake.

My husband spoke to NVC on friday and asked them whether they can just help us to check 'No' on that part so that we don't have to wait for another 60 days and they said that this is a legal contract between my husband and US government so only my husband that can do it.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Such a small thing to get a checklist on. Il know ppl on this site say plan for 60 days. But I hope you get some extra favour and get CC before the 60 days especially for something so small.

Do you think you can speak to a supervisor and request that you take the updated AOS fo to the embassy interview instead?

Congratulations to everyone who got their cc already. Very very happy for you guys because I just know how it feels to long for someone.

Hopefully ours will be cc too in the next few days, Dec. 15th, 2014 scan date here and I am so glad to see dec. 11th scan date getting reviewed already.

I am praying for our not to have any checklist anymore and praying the same fot each and every one of us.

Good Luck to us!!!!

I hope that you will NOT get any checklist from NVC. Stay positive!

Good luck to you too.

Did you received an email from NVC regarding the checklist? My scan date is dec 11 also but when we called yesterday they told us they are still reviewing it. Hopefully they'll finish reviewing our case today. :D

We got it from both e-mail and phone. My husband contacted NVC on Friday and spoke to few people. they said that we will get a checklist and explained everything that need to be corrected on our form as well. Then, after couple of hours we got checklist cover letter on our email. My husband took care of it in the same day and overnight it though USPS.

I hope you will NOT get any checklist and get your CC in few days.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Wish you get your CC very soon.

Thank you bk2014 and good luck to you too.

Yes, it is a very small mistake .

We tried that option already but we are still not lucky. My husband spoke to so many people on Friday and asked them to do us a favor since we have been waiting too long now and they said that they couldn't do it for us. So, the only option left for us is just waiting for another 60 days or less.

Sorry about that, it's totally unfair what they do to people, if I were the NVC reviewer I would have approved your papers and forwarded the checklist to the embassy. Stay positive, and may this delay be an advantage to you.

Just called NVC for an update as our scan date is Dec. 10 with EP and I had other questions. The kind gentleman made note that the average of days for processing is about 63 days at the moment due to the snow closures. He still expected mid/end of next week i would hear something about the case.

hahaha as per you and I quote "Called NVC today to see what they had as my scan date because when I called on Tuesday, the lady told me Dec 16, but I received an email Wednesday saying Dec 11. Woman on the phone today said that she sees it as Dec 11. Weird part is that the package wasn't even sent until Dec 12, so somehow I got very lucky and got 5 days shaved off my 60 days."
