That's a good news.

If you know about the current priority dates on which Texas Service Center is working on, then please do share. Because the immigration timeline on the VisaJourney domain is pretty confusing. Last week it was saying November 12th, 2014 and now it's saying October 15th, 2014. :clock:

Much obliged. :)

No, sorry I did not get any info on Texas since our case was in Missouri. They only gave me the dates for NBC. But you could try and call. I called at almost exactly 6:00 EST. The call went right through and they answered my questions with no problem. I did not get any "canned" answers. I did ask about Texas first but they said our case was indeed in Missouri and then gave me that info.

Texas service center here, priority date December 18th, check my case is still showing 'my case was received'. I notice a few folks going through TSC have already been approved even though they had similar dates - anyone know if it is worth calling?

Hi Dec Filers!

Any Updates so far ? Did anyone get approval from USCIS recently from TSC? i.e. I am not specifically asking about expedite cases because they only give you heart attacks ! :)

Thanks

NOA1 dec 16, still stating case received

Texas service center. I-130 us citizen filing for spouse . PD december 4, 2014.

Hi there Amena,

Regarding your previous questions: No, I didn't file a I-129 nor do I believe it is a requirement. To be honest, never heard about that so can't really give you a better answer.

After you get your NOA2 from USCIS, you move into the NVC process (also very lenghty).... You need to wait a couple of weeks so USCIS mails your approved package to NVC, after a couple more weeks they will give you a case number so you can continue the process. Only after NVC has completed your case, will you get an interview date.

Best of luck.

Hello.my hubby lives in newyork n has filed an I-130 for us.we live in Ghana.which service centre are we going to be processed help pls

Did you have a special case that the senator was able to get a speedy approval for you? My congresswoman told me to wait 5 months before she could do anything. ?

NOA1: December 17

Yea ive noticed that too... my NOA1 got in Dec 9 2014 and still no approval yet :( im also NSC

To the one who already got their case approved, can you please let me know if, on the status website, there is anything between "case received" and "approved", like processing, etc? Thank you.

Nope, it just goes from "Case Received" to Approved. Just hang in there.

Also, after approval it takes a few weeks to go to "Case was sent to the State Department".

Hello everyone,

I have an update but not sure if its good or bad.

I called USCIS in reference to the transfer to NBC for "faster processing" 3 months ago and found out that our case was transferred to our local field office on April 8th! I did not receive notice of this and don't know why it would be here. The man I spoke with was very nice and suggested it might be a mistake; that maybe they thought my husband was already here. He put in a service request but also suggested I make an InfoPass appt. That would be easy for me since the office is in the same building I work in but the InfoPass system doesn't have appointments that match my inquiry.

If it was a mistake, does anyone know if it will get transferred yet again back to a Service Center?? How frustrating!!

Not sure if I should try to schedule on or wait for an answer to the service request!!
