  • 2 weeks later...

Hey everyone, just checking on who's waiting! Making sure you are all still sane ? it's kind of hard through this process.

Funny fact, I received a text message from USCIS this past saturday that my card had been "delivered to me". LOL. It was delivered on April 20th! 2.5 months later they're sending texts.

I bet these are automatically generated! I thought it was funny to receive a text from USCIS.

Well, hope you guys had a great 4th of July weekend!

Haha, they seem to be behind in terms of updating cases online too! my interview is on 7/16 but online it still says "case is ready to be scheduled for interview"... I hope that if we get approved quickly they will update it quickly as well!

Also, flying back to JFK after 2 months in France with the advance parole was the easiest thing in the world: after the usual passport check and fingerprints check, they just take you to another room, there were a few other immigration agents and other people waiting. They took my passport, called my name less than 5 minutes later, and gave it back to me!

Good luck to everyone with the rest of the process!
