At least your I-129F is approved... We are still waiting for NOA2 from TSC!!! :(. According to USCIS, our case is in "Background Checks".... Is anyone else in a similar position, still waiting for NOA2?

I was - took us 10 months to NOA2 (OCT15 to AUG17) And we were in "backgroundchecks" the two/ three weeks before the approval.

I hope it is similar for you! Noone should have to wait this long for just the first step :-(

Thank you for this thread! While its lovely to see all CSC people getting approved, its a bit annoying to know we'll be waiting for our NOA2 around April-May unless some miracle happens! -1 month dow

I do understand how you feel and I do hope you get NO2 soon. I am thankful that we were approved but am still waiting to see the end of the tunnel as well

Hi Nov filers. I had my interview at the Islamabad embassy today and I got APPROVED. I will have the visa in hand in 2 weeks.

This journey would not have been same without my fellow Nov filers in this thread. We have encouraged each other so much through such a tough ordeal.

Hi Nov filers. I had my interview at the Islamabad embassy today and I got APPROVED. I will have the visa in hand in 2 weeks.

  •  We stayed 6 days at the Kemael Hotel Tabarre 58, Rue C. Sylvain #4 Tabarre Haiti $80.00USD per night. It is off Boulevard 15 Octobre
  •  Or you can stay at the Le Monte Cristo Hotel & Suites Tabarre 60, Boulevard 15 Octobre, Tabarre Haiti $90.00USD per night.

  • Received Approval NO2 for I-765, and I-131 in Mail on May 16, 2016
  • Received EAD/AP Combo Card in Mail on May 18, 2016
  • Received Text/Email: RFE for I-485 on August 31, 2016 we have to respond by September 30,2016
  • Placed on Request online for RFE hardcopy to be sent by mail on September 14, 2016
  • As of October 4, 2016 Still waiting for RFE hardcopy to come in the mail, called USCIS on September 30, 2016 no help.
  • As of November 3, 2016 We received an email in regards to not receiving in the mail the Request for Evidence (RFE) , come to find out they really didn't need any additional information. So now the have to wait another 120 more days before we can get an interview or approval. This is some BS.
  • As of February 7, 2017, We received in the mail Interview Date for AOS on March 20, 2017

Hello November fillers. We received NOA1 on nov 23. And We received a RFE on aug 26.

We answered back and they received our response on September 23.... Still waiting here.

Hello November fillers. We received NOA1 on nov 23. And We received a RFE on aug 26.

We answered back and they received our response on September 23.... Still waiting here.

it looks like it won't be long before you receive NO2. The good thing is that you are sure now that they looked at your file. I received an RFE and I got No2 12 days after they receive it. for a few of us it was fairly quick (although after waiting 10 months nothing feels quick) In the meantime you can try to call them, try to speak to a tier 2 supervisor, maybe they can tell you if your case is being reviewed or anything.

We are November filers are still waiting for NOA2. It's been such a nightmare...

Our case had been sent for background checks (which caused a massive delay) but came back from background checks on Sept 10th for processing and we are still waiting for the final decision and NOA2... I really hope it won't be too much longer.
