Thank you for this thread! While its lovely to see all CSC people getting approved, its a bit annoying to know we'll be waiting for our NOA2 around April-May unless some miracle happens! -1 month dow

I would like to say I'm overjoyed. Approved last night.

There is still much to be done following the many posts from others who have shared their approval status. To everyone still waiting. Be encouraged as your day is near.

I may never meet many of our November and early December filers. If you are in the Houston area. Perhaps, we can meet. Like a reunion of sort to meet others that have shared the journey with a celebration.

My senator got back with me today saying that my case was assigned to a officer and has been out for background check. How long does it take til noa2??? Anyone on the same boat??? Or any idea???

It's been 28 days since I received the NOA2 but still haven't heard back from NVC. It states on NOA2 not to write to them before 30 days but I couldn't take it anymore and sent them an email today. Here's hoping....

  • As of November 3, 2016 We received an email in regards to not receiving in the mail the Request for Evidence (RFE) , come to find out they really didn't need any additional information. So now the have to wait another 120 more days before we can get an interview or approval. This is some BS.
  • As of February 7, 2017, We received in the mail Interview Date for AOS on March 20, 2017

Awesome. Congratulations to both of you.

For us, the next step is to wait for the hard copy in the mail, then do electronic DS-160 and also some kind of financial information ( not sure about that yet).

All to be followed by, medical for Fiancée in Liberia and interview. There could be a few other items that I missed.

WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Our K1 request was finally approved!
