That was the date on the email. And every time I call they said the 17th except the last couple of times.

Whooooooooo!! :jest::jest: Congrats on this thread too! Question, since you were told both Oct-17 and Oct-20 ... was Oct-17 the date on the NVC "receipt" email? Pretty sure went by that one...

Thank you Soloenta. Your are the best!

Your welcome my dear, your so sweet :)smileys-embrace-hug-431475.gif

Someone on the other thread received a CC on 12/08 with checklist scan date of 10/24 for an EB3 visa (not IR1/CR1 like us). So i guess NVC is all over the place. I don't think this is indicative that they are working on the third week yet but hopefully it all comes by end of week! :)

God I hope so, I'm starting to feel negative instead of positive thinking it just will never happen for me. I'll try to reverse that. :(smileys-embrace-hug-431475.gif Thank you so much for the information even if it may not mean anything for us.

Hehehee it was hell to me, what horrible temps and there wasn't even snow on the ground hahahahaa  I know I'm a wuss but I had regular clothes on and no coat.

Boy I used to laugh telling my husband you have three seasons, summer, three days of winter and two days of spring. OMG how horrible it was during summer I was pretty much never comfortable and we lived on the Red Sea so it wasn't as hot as the rest of Egypt. It was windy, but my husband did say it was cold in winter in his city. I wonder what he considers cold!

Me thinks your husband is going to see the snow run out then run right back inside! smileys-happy-715315.gif

Hahaha! Both our husbands ideas of cold are probably around 75 degrees fahrenheit.

Where on the Red Sea did you live? We spent a couple of weeks on the Red Sea for our honeymoon. It was definitely a nice break from the chaos of Alexandria. So peaceful! We weren't there all that long, but the time we were there was considerably warmer than Alex. I think it was high 90's with heat index in the low 100's. If it weren't for the strong sea breeze, it would have been too warm.

My husband and I joke all the time about what his reaction would be if he ended up coming here during the winter. I told him I think he'd step off the plane, the cold air would hit his face, his eyes would water, his nostrils would freeze shut, and he'd walk right over to the ticket counter at the airport to buy a ticket to go back home. Hahaha! Of course he insists otherwise, just as he insists he will run outside in the winter. He never did say how far or how long he'd run. I suppose even if he only made it as far as you predicted, he'd claim victory. Lol!

I am so frustrated. I got checklisted in October.. I corrected the really minor error.( didnt realize it was significant). NVC received my corrected checklist on 10/23... To be honest, I feel drained. Wife is crying everyday, I feel like I have been at the NVC for centuries.. I really hope there is a light at the end of the tunnel

Lol!

We lived in Hurghada straight across to Asyuit on the Nile just to give you where to look. Yes it was the wind that made it tolerable for my husband and I was dying every day Actually winter was mild we even needed a heater some nights. :D Wondering where you spend your honeymoon might have beenSharm El Sheikh? It was very calm there with not many people not like Cairo. If God willing I can go so I can accompany my husband back to the USA I want to visit Alexandria I didn't get a chance last time and I pray this time I can. It's been my life long dream to visit there. My husband almost got a job there but the company went belly up.

Heck I left the next day that I arrived in Minnesota and I'm not ashamed to say it. Literally thought I was going to die. Hahahaa I agree with the running then running back in your going to have to buy him a little trophy to present to him when he runs back in. :Dsmileys-happy-715315.gif

The thing I love so much about California is I'll be able to take my husband to the snow or beach or even Mexico. Mountains about 1 1/2 to 2 hours away, beach depending on traffic 30 mins to 1 hour and Mexico about maybe 3 hours away then there is San Francisco which I love 8 hour drive and Iove driving. :D

"Hahaha! Both our husbands ideas of cold are probably around 75 degrees fahrenheit.", I think your being way to kind hahahaa boy nice to talk to someone that can understand those crazy Egyptians Hahahaaa. My husband would laugh so much when I told him Egyptians are crazy because they refuse to walk on the sidewalk . I had to close my eyes when I crossed the street with my husband hahaa really crazy stuff. :Dt5063.gif

Thank you so much! Can't wait to hear good news from you!

Awww thank you dear heart I appreciate you kind thoughts. :)t5063.gif

Same here but mine were mostly lies from NVC, they did ask me for my parents marriage certificate like that maters for AOS just more BS and hoops to jump through I guess. Well your in luck your very close like the rest of us God willing. Last scan date receiving CC is Oc 20, I have 22 and you 23 ed so many of us with you are God willing getting good news this or next week. Just pray and ask your wife to pray it really does work no matter your faith. God bless you and stay strong and we are here for you and your wife. :)
