They changed their website. If you enter your receipt number you get an error. If you wish to see your case status you need to create an account. Once your account is created it will show you the last date of activity on your case.

Hm, when I log in, mine STILL does not work. It doesn't give any update or anything...

New issue - now I can access my status via my phone but still not on my computer. The status I see is "old" - it just says that my case has been received on 7/10. The phone status still says new ARN on 11/3. I called USCIS and they said the web is the most current, really?! She could not access my case to tell me what current status is... she had no idea of when USCIS would be able to. I should keep checking back. Wow.

Me again - just spoke with another USCIS officer. The cases at this point are getting updated on the website by your caseworker/adjudicator. I was told to call back, if my status on web and phone is not consistent, by the end of the week and they will file a service request. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise.

I'm having the same problem I called today and they were able to file a service request I hope this is good news.

Well you have to wonder if when fixing it.. they go ahead and complete the whole process since it only takes about 15mins to do each one. Too terrified to hope for that much but it seems that people who have been approved can suddenly access their file and at the same time are approved. We're early August but I'm monitoring July because that is what is in front of us.

Hoping like crazy that things happen and get moving we have been in this process and apart for so long, I'm really struggling now ... but trying to main positive....:wacko:

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

I forget where it was, but in another thread someone pulled all the data and wrote a whole analyzing program (for the sake of doing something ;-)) and arrived at the working theory that only the ones that are approved are in the system and everything else is just sitting there, until it gets approved.

Needless to say, I am not a huge fan of that theory, but the poster made it sound very plausible.

I am October NOA1 myself, and I can´t access it either, and its only been a month...

Fingers crossed, right?

So I just called USCIS, and without even asking, they have directly transferred me to tier 2 agent. I am going to see if they can help and potentially put in a service request for me. I will let you guys know what info I get whenever they call me back.

its a request they put in their system to have somebody look at your case, I got pretty upset and told them that is not our fault they're doing such a poor job on their site, that I needed somebody to look at my case and give me an answer, so they put in t he service request gave me a confirmation # and now I just hope that this is a good sign and somebody may actually look at my case, I seen that they're doing this for people calling in complaining about the site so it might be good.
