So many of us are getting error messages while trying to check case status at USCIS website. So far what I have seen is that those receiving error messages are either getting approval or RFE once they are able to see their status.

If you are getting error message please post here so we can track what's happening, how long we see error message, what happens when you finally see case status. This error message may actually be a blessing in disguise.

Yes, I was getting error message until the day we got our NOA2. It now says our case has been approved.

That would be awesome, but I don't know if that's the case, though. Because it seems like EVERYONE is getting this error message UNTIL they've been approved. Meaning USCIS is only seeming to fix this issue for those who have been approved. But that doesn't necessarily mean that it's because it's in the process of approval. We've been getting that message for weeks and haven't gotten approved yet.

Anyways, we can only hope that's why! :)

Does everyone know how to check your case status by calling? It's been posted in several topic forums, but I know some people are getting antsy and, even though it's likely not changed, want to be able to check their status. :content:

I am thinking there has to be a reason that some are able to check while others aren't. If it was system glitch then it'd affect all! I have other cases for my siblings in my portfolio and I am seeing status for those except this currently pending I129F for my fiancée.

I've had the error ever since the site changed over. Phoned and our status is still the same. Rather a joke really... If the info from several who bugged the USCIS agents about this is correct, it has absolutely nothing to do with if they are working on our cases or not.. more like the government having an inability to know how to program websites and fix databases. You can expect it will remain broken until they go in and fix each case manually, or fix the problem altogether.

Exactly! I don't think that it means they're going through our cases, but that when they switched over to the new site, apparently they just weren't so great with fixing databases for everyone. Besides, when you call the USCIS number to get your case status, it's still the same. Why would they have an error message online if they're going through our case? That doesn't make much sense, though not like much that USCIS does make sense. I think they're just probably working it fixing for those approved. Idk. Who knows what goes on in their minds? :clock:
