wow ... everybody's timeline looks amazing = super fast! Congrats!

We have received noa2 Nov 17 - website. Now I have been trying to call NVC, but with no luck so I don't have a case number. If I don't get ahold of NVC, I can just wait for my embassy to contact me eventually, correct?

Based on your timeline, I guess it should not take months ... HOPEFULLY!!!!!

We've had no luck with NVC either they just keep saying they haven't received ours yet so I think I'm going to leave it for a couple of weeks and try again after christmas.

If you don't end up phoning you will eventually be notified by NVC and then your embassy so fear not.

It seems most people's get to NVC in 2-3 weeks so looking at your NOA2 date I'm sure yours has a good chance of this, so try not to worry!

Hi all just want to share my NOA 2 was November 20 and hard copy receive in mail November 24 on December 2 my case was sent to NVC got email and case status upgrade that same evening Dec 2..So i am waiting now for the next step

I called the NVC today, was on hold for 45 minutes and then talked to a representative. I was so nervous that I was going to get a bad news that I was shaking like crazy when I heard the representative's voice. She gave me my case number and informed me that they had already shipped it to my embassy.

I hope that it is as smooth at NVC for everyone!!!!

Mine went very quick through the NVC. Mine was sent to the consulate on 12-1. Does anyone know how we can check receipt date at the consulate? I read they won't give any updates over the phone. Does the NVC receive the updates?

we got our NOA2 on NOV 21 and Sent to NVC on DEC 1. Nothing else since then. . .

Well our file was "In transit" for a few days, then changed to "Ready"... so i assumed this was the date the consulate received it This was 12/01... On 12/04 i checked CEAC status, and it was updated... so i assumed this was when they sent Packet 3... and indeed, i got it in the mail yesterday

I am in the beneficiary's country right now.. so I dont really know how to contact NVC. I emailed the consulate in her country asking if they had received my case and they said no, but I could contact them every week to check (they can search by name to find out if they have it). I emailed NVC and have not received anything in about 1 and a half weeks.

Other than that, nothing to speak of.

Whilst in the UK we bought 400 US minutes on Skype (£2.99) and called NVC using that, so maybe Skype credit is the way to go if you want to call

We were approved (NOA2) on Nov 10 and I just received packet 3 today (Dec 9). So about a month of waiting, not long at all!

Called NVC again today, still haven't received our petition

After emailing the U.S embassy in Santiago.. they notified me that they received my case.. December 10th and set her interview. So it seems I had more success contacting the embassy rather than NVC (never emailed me back).
