I couldn't find a thread for people who have received their NOA2 in November 2014. So, here it is.

So that we can discuss our progress with NVC and the consulates.

We received notification of the I-129F approval on the website on 11/12. I expect the NOA2 will arrive in the next week or so.

I was approved on 11/10 and just got my hard copy NOA2 in the mail on 11/15

Hi Everyone!

I just wanna know more about FORM I-797 as me and my fiance received SMS from USCIS saying that they received our fiance Petition and that the official Receipt Notice (FORM I-797) to follow in mail. I checked USCIS and found out that FORM I-797 is to acknowledge that The Petition is approved. So can someone tell me what does it mean when USCIS Says Official Receipt Notice (FORM I-797) to follow in mail?

This is the first Notification we received from USCIS after sending The I-129F. If this is the NOA1 then USCIS should say receipt notice (FORM I-797C) to follow in mail But it says on the SMS Receipt Notice (FORM I-797) to follow in mail. Has anyone received the same Message?

I feel the same way. I know we have to submit the DS160 and my I134 when we are asked for them. I know my fiancé's interview is next, but not at all sure of the process. We have all the documents ready and questions on the DS160 typed and ready for when they are requested. Patience isn't my strong suit... =

From what I've read today I believe we can start phoning NVC in two weeks to see if they have received our case and go from there

wow ... everybody's timeline looks amazing = super fast! Congrats!

We have received noa2 Nov 17 - website. Now I have been trying to call NVC, but with no luck so I don't have a case number. If I don't get ahold of NVC, I can just wait for my embassy to contact me eventually, correct?

Based on your timeline, I guess it should not take months ... HOPEFULLY!!!!!
