I'm sorry guys, please forgive me. I just really miss my baby and I can't always control myself from saying things I shouldn't. I'm not helping anyone here, I'm just adding more unnecessary frustration to others. I'm a mess without her.

It only takes 15 minutes for an adjucator to adjucate a case. Why would they want to delay anything?

So on average it takes 5 months of waiting for just 15 minutes of work....calculate how many cases are ahead of yours!!!

Quite a lot.

Yes there will be cases that slip through by not following the norm. Should they have better quality control?......it's the government.

Foreign immigration to the US is a priviledge, not a right. Treat our priviledges with respect, men and women have given their lives for us to be able to do this.....deal with it. We all did, or have, or are doing it now or will be doing it. We all go through the wait and trust me, after you are together, this is all but a distant memory.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

It's okay, I totally understand it. I miss my fiancé so much as well. :( And I also get very frustrated when I think of people cheating the system, believe me. But you know what, I am SO happy that this site exists, we are all in the same boat and it feels like we were one big family. :)

I wish you and your fiancée all the best, I hope you guys will be together real soon. ;)

Thanks! :)

This is quite often not an easy process to go through. We also had our share of problems along the way...

Stay positive it will work out in the end. We are examples of that. :)

Good luck to you!

Journey so far:

09/21/2012: NOA1 Received

04/22/2013: NOA2 Notice of approval

06/01/2013 Packet 3 Received

06/04/2013 Packet 3 Sent

06/10/2013 Packet 4 email received

06/27/2013 First Scheduled interview-cancelled (didn't get notarized paperwork in time)

08/12/2013 K-1 interview passed!

08/28/2013 Lili Arrives in the U.S.!!!

10/04/2013 Marriage!!!

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong, and think of what could go right!

It is a very difficult and frustrating process. Being apart, fees, all the documentation and paperwork is enough to send anyone over the edge. My last visit with my fiancé we didn't even take any pics. We're both sick of opening our lives and privacy to prove it's real. I wanted just one day of no pics just us!!

I hope everything goes smoothly for you so that you and your fiancée can be together real soon! This distance is killer!!

One Love

Please see the below link to the USCIS Memoranda stating that the foreign beneficiaries original signature is not required at the time of filing the I-129f petition. This was presented to me by my attorney and we had not had a problem in regards to signatures of my foriegn fiancee.

http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Laws/Memoranda/Static_Files_Memoranda/Archives%201998-2008/2005/i129f_g325a_110105.pdf

It has been this way since 2005, but some people still spread lies or misinformation about needing the original signature when filing the I-129f petition. I am posting this because I see the question asked over and over again, causing delays for people to file their petitions. Hopefully this will be helpful for someone in the future.

I am quite sure no one "lied" and there is no reason for an adjudicator to delay anything. What would they have to gain? The system can be slow at times, but it is what it is and immigration takes time, there are literally millions who apply yearly. Coming here and accusing members of lying isn't going to get you anywhere.

Ha ha that bit there gave me a right giggle, im the beneficiary last year on a visit to my fiancé I drove his car from the local store back home (country road) kinda weird coming from a country where we drive on the right hand side. Anyway I have been informed it will be a long time before I'm let loose on the highway

We got an RFE it was for my fiances birth certificate missing which by the way was sent we skyped each other the day he was sending off the petition and went through it together. This is a difficult and frustrating journey but you gotta have patience and know in your heart that this distance is not permanent, you will get your NOA2 soon. Good luck :goofy:
