Good morning I hope everyone had a great Thanks Giving day!!!!!!!!! Question when am I supposed to get all my originals that I sent to NVC at the time of the interview or do they will mail them to the beneficiary house. The interview is Dec 15 and I'm starting to get everything ready.. Thanks in advance.

So so i may have a stupid question but i need to make sure- is there a fee I need to pay for the interview? Because when i went there for the J1 visa i had to pay interview fee of 160 dollars! Is there such a thing here????

NVC send them to the embassy before your interview.

If you log into the CEAC site, you can check the status.

https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

It will say "At NVC" first, then "In Transit" while the package is on its way to the embassy, then "Ready" when it arrives at the embassy.

Eight days after my consular interview, I got finally my passport today (¡¡¡¡it took 8 days living in the same city -Madrid- where the embassy is at!!, crazy!!).

I had everything ready, paid my immigration fee and bought the plane ticket for tomorrow to finally join my husband!!!!

My POE will be New York (JFK) in layover to San Francisco. I have 3 hours before taking my connection flight to SFO...Is that enough?

Any information about how long CBP people take there?

There's no interview fee, but there's the $165 green card fee you'll have to pay after you get your visa back (and preferably before entering the US, as they won't give you your green card until it's paid).

Dswheels do u know if there is any specific thread for Islamabad interviews? And is there is any statistic which tells what's the percentage of approvals and AP from Islamabad?

I only know of the Islamabad AP tracker. Go look in your regions forum to see. I doubt if their is a specific interview just fr you. That what this is for.

many have tried these things but no one ever stays past their own conclusions. I been doing this thread now 2 1/2 years. Do a advance search and see,

My interview was on 26-Nov-2014 and visa was approved by the CO. She told me that i will get my passport within 2 weeks. But Ceac website still shows Administrative Process till today. is it normal. i am so much tense.

Had my interview at 18 novmber since then still says this totaly frustrated and confused ..

We flew LHR-JFK yesterday and my wife did her POE at JFK terminal 4. It was super quick. I don't think I've ever gone through passport control this quickly before! I wrote a POE review which you can read at the bottom of my timeline page.

It's great to finally be home together! Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone!

but they didnt tell me that i can pick my passport in 2 weeks .. nor they said they approved my visa .. as i already posted my 4 hours interview story and they kept my passport and all evidence .. pls make me sure if thats a positive sign ?

I wasn't at JFK, but I was at Newark which is one of the three NY airports and it was really quick. I was there maybe 20-30 minutes tops. After going through security again, I sat around for 4 hours doing nothing, but better than missing the connecting flight
