Thank you. Yes, good idea. Gives you breathing space. And good luck back at ya. The medical is a doddle so long as you don't mind getting your kit off ;) and the x ray guy is super nice, you can keep your gown on in front of him. My doctor was the South African lady and she was lovely. Remember it's just a job to them and when it's over your another step closer to your loved one :)

Hi CathyMac - how did the interview go??? hope you're all approved and sorted by now :)

My medical tomorrow eekk - just making sure i have all my documents with me. Did you take any NVC letters with you to the medical? or just your police report and passport?

Thanks

Hi

Does anyone know how important the address is on your police certificate..

Got my medical tomorrow morning and just realised that my police certificate has my old address on as i moved house a few weeks ago...

I'm going to take proof of previous and new address, but i'm just worried that my house move will cause problems!

Thanks

They require you to do it, otherwise you have the choice to defer it and arrange your interview for a later date after the baby is born. A huge part of the medical is checking for TB so there's no way you can skip this process unfortunately :( same goes for the vaccines.

I will say however that in London they provide plates to protect the pelvic area. Maybe you could request something similar if they don't automatically offer it.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Hello everyone...first of all thanks to all of those people in VJ who helped us to get through this long process...now that my husband has been in the US for a little bit over a month...I wanted to know if any of you can help me about what to do next for his green card process...although I did make a payment before he left for US...we haven't heard anything yet...just wondering if there's anything we need to do from our end..any help would be helpful...thanks in advance :)

Bomzy, it can take 2 to 3 months for the official green card to arrive. You just have to wait for it! Your husband can use the visa stamp in his passport until the card arrives.

Good luck!

Got Case Completed in November 13, based on instruction on post 1, they are making interview appointments scheduled among last 2 days of month and first week of the new month. So I am just expecting to get interview letter this Tuesday or Friday bc they are last 2 business days from month, and plus i am one of the first who got to wait for next flow. Because they finished scheduling interviews for CC on November 10, if i got approved 5 days before i would have interview scheduled 10 days ago :)

I wish we all to get soon interview dates scheduled and close date of interview appointments.

Hi guys,

My two cents worth.

Back in 2000 when I got my first Green Card I was pregnant, six months. They gave me a waiver on the xray. I didn't have to take it for the Visa and never had to take it when I got there. Check with the doctor the process Neo.

Good luck. Let us know how you go.

Hello

We got case complete on Nov 13 too. Hoping to get earlier interview date as well. I still need to give my company 45 days notice on my resignation. As much as possible, I don’t want to put in my resignation without the visa on hand.

Good luck to us and to everyone in this journey.

Yea i understand you, but i made little risk which was worthy for me and announced about going from work 45 days before. So in middle of January i will be out from work and around that time i am expecting for interview date. Just when Approved on interview i want to buy ticket same day :)

How do you think guys, based on instruction and i see myself excel charts, NVC is making interviews scheduled for last 2 days of month and first week of new month. So bc Tuesday is thanksgiving do you think they will start scheduling interviews at Wednesday and Friday? (I am sure last 2 days of month means last 2 business days :) )
