Hi guys sorry to post the same question again...had my interview at November 18 at Islamabad pakistan ..since then stil no status updates ..its always says ready ...any body knows how long it ll take to change the status ..thnx alot

In your case, you have to sit back and wait for the embassy to tell you what the next steps are because they are most likely doing thorough investigation related to the evidences you provided them about your relationship. It can take anywehre between 2 weeks to 3 months. So, its not pretty clear. Your case is in administrative processing and they are doing lots and lots of research.

When they put u in AP .they returned ur passport right away ..but in my case they kept my passport ..thats wat making me impatient n nervous

I had not been here recently but I came back to say thank you so much for your support for over a year.

I just finished my interview at Tokyo embassy and I am approved finally.

I cannot believe this long nightmare is almost over.

Do you have to pay the $165 before they leave or it can be paid after he arrives?

You have a year to pay. The stamp in the passport at POE is the temp green card stamp. But note many employers don't know that and many employers want to see a real green card same for DMV.

Go to the UK portal and look at Reviews. Every country should have interview reviews. UK folk are very good about spreading information. Nice people they are.

Just got the official CC email from NVC (1 week after CC: 9/18). Hope they start January interviews soooon!!!

dwheels, per research other egypt members here in VJ, the time from CC ro actual interview was an average of 55 days (so hoping for January 12th week) do you think thats realistic or not?

Egypt has been great in the last 3 months no more 6 to 8 month wait. It's been pretty much the next round. So hang on. It's coming. Yeah Egypt.

Quick questions guys, my wife she got visa already in her hand, now when she was gettingher medical, doctor told her to come back after interview for two more vaccines. For me I think she already got visa plus they took her medical report at interview. so no need to go back and pay for two more vaccines? Am I right or wrong.

No she doesn't have to go back. More than likely its round two of the HEP which she can do in the US or just not do. But no she doesn't have to go back she ha Visa.

OMG my husband keeps saying that and it freaks me out! I'm in the mindset that I'm here on a visit, though when he arrived in the car and put my 10 ton suitcase into the boot, it hit me for a moment that I wasn't leaving and I almost passed out

You'd think spending over a year on this visa would prepare me emotionally, but I guess I've just been too focused on the paperwork side

My AOS status changed to N/A on Nov 18. NVC confirmed over phone that it's a case complete as on Nov 17. Today is my 8th day since case complete and I still have not received the official CC email yet. Is this something to be worried? Just a bit concerned. Can someone throw some light on this please.....

Most get the letter. Some don't. It usually comes like clock work 7 days after case complete. So I would say it will land in your inbox today. Congratulations welcome to the group.

It's been almost a month since i got CC.. i keep calling NVC but i'm not having luck! so frustrated!

You have to understand everyday is not scheduling day. There is a window of scheduling once closed you have to wait for the next months round. You wer late getting a CC last month and missed December but in queue now and hopefully will get a January slot.

Visa issued same day? No

If not whats the waiting period? if you're approved anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks .

ok, well husband did his medical test today, easy about $220 in Bethlehem. Got a new paper from the consulate that we should give to Israelis to get a permit to enter Jerusalem for the day of interview. Not sure if it will work, it's basically the same paper that was emailed telling about the appointment day/time.

But at the bottom of the page it says "You will be required to pay the visa application fee at the US consulate on the day of your interview. The fee is $325."

wth. Is this the IV fee, I paid it in Aug before the fee changed. so if this is what they are referring to, does he just pay the difference. or what is this?

Standard jargon. You paid don;t worry about it. No difference you have to pay. What you paid is good for a year. Hope you get approval to get pass.

Hello, I have been silently following many threads on VJ. I finally, after 7 long months at NVC, got a case complete on November 13. I am so beyond happy but hope to get my interview date soon! Just thought I'd stop by. Thanks for all the support. I couldn't have made it through without this!
